Another day, another bodies. Wait, bodies? And neither of them entirely boring, this time.

Blazerunner is the first found dead, after attracting some fire yesterday. His house is full of roleblocking materials (What are roleblocking materials, anyway?) that half verify what he said he was, but nothing indicating that he'd been compromised.

The other victim was a little more interesting- vikingfan. It seemed like he'd come ready for the cult menace, with pamphlets and writings on the dangers of joining a cult that he seemed to have already begun to distribute. Sadly, whoever came to shoot him showed little regard for pamphlets.

Two shooters, so mnowax as vig is legit - otherwise he would have been shot by the real vig.

Apparently blazerunner decided not to block mno after all, otherwise he would not have been shot. Am I missing something or does that make sense?

Also, Blazerunner claims to have blocked TSS night 1? That would mean Mnowax did kill DGB, or else, TSS isn't the SK, one of those two.

Skruffs: You are missing 2 things.

1) Recruits lose their abilities. Blaze couldn't have blocked last night.

2) Vig can only kill every other night. Therefore mno didn't kill DGB, therefore TSS != SK.

Wait, mod, is Blaze confirmed not cult, or are you just not revealing if he was or wasn't? If the first, then Skruffs has a point and I'm confused as to his play of not blocking as well.

Blazerunner was not cult; cultists are revealed as such. (Along with their cult name and former role, which I summarized in the setup post as "[cultname] Cultist, previously [oldrole]")

Blaze seemed pretty intent on blocking you, and I'm guessing that's what happened.

If Mnowax isn't lying about being vig and having targeted Yos (and that's still a distinct possibility), it looks like we have at least three shooting roles.

Vig and SK = "Shooting Roles" It's not entirely impossible that we don't three of these roles in some combination or another.

Did miss the part where I said there was a "distinct possibility" that Mno was lying?

Personally, it makes a fair amount of sense to me that Blaze would block Mno no matter what and (in addition) draw a kill from a shooting role other than Mno considering that he was bascially a claimed recruit.

What stinks here is that Mno, by his own reporting, failed to target Blaze like he said he would (indicating that he somehow felt the kill would be unsuccessful or ill-advised), but completely failed to consider the possibility that he could have been blocked last-night in accusing Yos. Like all the claiming we've undergone so far, it just doesn't add up. Now there's a possibility that he targeted Mno, got recruited, and is outright lying about Yos, but why exactly is it scummy to not jump immediately to that conclusion?

If you're telling the truth, then that means Blaze roleblocked you.

Why, exactally, would you try to kill me after promising yesterday you'd kill the claimed cult recruit? You actually CLAIMED VIG, JUST so we would know that you were about to target Blaze, so we would know that if you died he was cult leader. So, why the hell would you go and change that? If you had died and blaze had lived, that would have led to a mislynch.

ALso, I'm confused about why exactally Blaze claimed cult memeber if he really wasn't recruited? WTF?

And yeah, the most likely scenerio here is that Mnowax just got recruited.

IF Mno was blocked (likely) and there are no redirectors (there aren't) then we could have up to four vigs, or a vig and two SKs (which means TSS might be an sk after all) or two vigs (who didn't go night one) and an sk.

The mod should clarify how someone will die if two cults attempt to recruit someone the same night; it seems unlikely to be burnt to a crisp OR shot, more likely some sort of heart attack or aneurism or something.

To be honest, I didn't even read your question to Mno before I posted. It's not like this is rocket science.

i have no idea whats going on, but i targetted yos. When Blaze said we wasn't recruited, i had a feeling that he might be telling the truth, and i looked back at some of the people who said the least yesterday, and i picked yos out of that set. It is possible we have two vigs, shooting every other night is a weird thing to have for a vig, but it allows both vigs to target a CL or SK and kill them in one night. it get s around their one kill immunity, and yet allows to effectively have one vig kill a night, assuming myself and the alternate vig took shots every other night. We have no redirection roles, so unless i was RB'ed by blaze, which could very well have been the case, we have at least one other vig and/ or sk.

the last thing he said was he was going to block you...which sucks all the way around. I guess I can believe the double vig claim, since a vig can only target once every two nights. What I find strange is that neither the other vig (if we have one) or the SK didnt find you scummy or threatening enough to take you out.

guess I need to reread.
