also, I would like to hear everyone's thoughts on what type of person I should target tonight (granted, this will have little to no effect on what I actually do), but I am curious to what people will suggest today..

should I target someone who has a night ability to confirm myself tomorrow?

or if I think someone who is scummy that doesnt have a night ability, it is ok to target them?

of course, this all assumes I live through the night to claim tomorrow...but I am curious what people's stances on this is today.

I would also be fine with claiming my night-action (although I probably won't use it unless I'm relatively sure of someone being scum).

And I also agree with post 172, although there's always the problem that goborage could be scum and would screw things up somehow.

Well I think AK should target Samus or I. It's in the town's best interest to get more investigative roles.

Assuming AK is scum we should force him to use his power on pre-determined targets to a) use up his night action so he can't NK and b) to prevent him from getting a power that could be detrimental to town.

Whether AK is scum or town, it's in town's best interest to make him target Samus or I.

There would be no way for town to verify that you absorbed supersaint without lynching you. You could then proceed to use whatever night action you actually absorbed against town or NK.

On the other hand if you pick pikachu, we can get info about your alignment and your target using the mario-pikachu idea. This way your night actions are accounted for and you can be useful to town.
