What is that makes you think lulu is so scummy? The comment about being regarded scummy either way doesn't really prove anything. I myself have said similar things when town in other games. Some people just want to lynch you whatever you do or say. Is there anything else you find scummy about lulu?

I'd like to see clarification from Nanook as well, though. What did you mean with that sentence?

I might not be able to count very well, but this is around lynch minus 2 or 3 or so, so be careful about your votes.

And I see nothing wrong with metagaming. Waiting for sufficient bandwagoning (inevitable, but reading the reasons will be interesting), and then a claim. (Preferably in that order)

Well of course it doesn't prove anything. I've seen lulu play in a few games now, and I don't think that she is acting like she usually does as town, in this game. Call it a womanly intuition about another woman if you like.

And I don't necessarily want the spotlight off me.. just the votes.

And I don't appreciate Wacky saying that sufficient bandwagoning is inevitable. None of you should vote for me just because it's the current trend (unless you're scum of course and then I'd understand). You should only vote for me if you think I'm scum. If you don't, then put your vote on someone you DO think is scummy.

And a few notes on time:

The five day suspension grace period for Village Night choices ends in about half an hour; after that, a lynch will end the Town's Day and Village's Night immediately.

I'll be gone for most of Sunday through Tuesday next week. FD, Fuldu, and Uraj wil be receiving prods unless they post 'ere I leave.

I'm here. I think MMCL's reasoning for voting Talitha is silly, but not scummy. She hasn't defended herself admirably, but, again, I see no reason to vote on that basis.

see thats the thing. Even though I don't embrace MMCLs strategy or such Talithas defense isn't up to par is it?
Maybe I just actually have certain expectations that I didn't realize I had/have.

Though how does one really defend themselves against MMCL strategy?
It's not exactly based totally with concrete in gaming stuff right?

That's the point(one of them) of my post.
There really isn't much of anything to defend against, so I don't get how you would because ...there isn't concrete evidence. And ...yea.

Okay, I looked things over again and MMCL I think you are wrong on Talitha.
I do at least one of lulu, wacky, nanook, or URAJ is scum and a vote for one of those 4 would be appropriate.

I followed Talitha's vote to lulu and that may be a good vote.

I do think that set of 4 is a good place to start and I think MMCL's vote did a good job of luring in a scum but we just have to figure out which of that set of 4 is scum. Maybe we got lucky and have more then one scum but I bet we have at least one.

Well, the reason(s) I'm voting for you is

1. Shameless bandwagoning
2. Behaviour that might be out of character (Haven't been in a game with you lately, so that's not a major reason)
3. MMCL gave some vague, weird excuse, which, as you say, would be pretty bad play unless there really is reason to suspect you.

That's partially true. I have mentioned that it's hard to tell if you're scum or not. That doesn't mean I can't try, and that doesn't mean you aren't acting out of character right now.

What if you are scum?

He could be a cop, paranoid, or random - no action necessary
He could be a sane cop, in which case claim miller
He could be a reporter, in which case you would have to claim a role that visited the dead guy
He could be a gunsmith, in which case you would have to claim vigilante

I think you're trapped. You certainly act like a deer in headlights. And you want MMCL to claim first so you can make up an appropriate counterclaim.

So, no, you claim first, then we get MMCL to explain his weird actions.

And it doesn't have to be a full claim, you just need to claim all the possibly incriminating roles you don't have.
