I figured that people would vote me because they probably tried to recruit last night but couldnt (cant be recruited)..not that I have claimed mason, everyone jumps on my wagon WHY?!aioqwe wrote:That was seriously bad claiming. GG.
vote: CKD
Please tell me, why is my claim bad?
tell me why skruff votes me after my claim, they once he says he missed it, keeps it there?
hang me if you want, look into those who DID jump on the wagon after I claimed.
I left a crumb for my partner, so if he needs it he can use it...but I think he is probably recruitable, since I am not...so at worst he can be a cult recruit.NO YOU'RE OVER DEFENSIVE-

End of Day Vote Count
curiouskarmadog (6) - Yosarian2, Beep! Beep!, NabakovNabakov, Skruffs, aioqwe, armlx
mnowax (3) - the silent speaker, SlySly, springlullaby
Skruffs (2) - vollkan, mnowax
SlySly (1) - curiouskarmadog
Not voting (0):
7 to lynch, 4 at deadline.
Day 2:
The town takes a little longer to get used to the rope thing today then yesterday. But when curiouskarmadog admitted to being part of a dark and mysterious secret society, the choice became clear.
But it was the wrong society; the mystic materials on his person were completely benign, and nothing in his house pointed to being able to resist outside influences or having actually been converted.
curiouskarmadog (Mason) - lynched Day 2
It is now Night 3, send choices. Deadline 96 hours from this post.-

Night 3
It does not surprise anyone to see another person missing from the town meeting. A search finds the body, which still betrays no sign of cult involvement- a single bullet again was all that was needed.
Springlullaby had acquired a second chance, but it was again cut tragically short. Her house is strikingly similar to the last one the townsfolk investigated, but one thing suggests a difference- readings on confidence and self-control. Her mind was clearly strong enough to resist the yet-unseen foe...
Springlullaby II (Steadfast Mason) - shot Night 3
It is now Day 3, 10 alive means 6 to lynch.Last edited by Norinel on Fri May 30, 2008 4:15 pm, edited 1 time in total.-

Or unless you are in..I don't know...a game with cults?armlx wrote:
This. I see no reason to call a mason claim "bad claiming" unless you yourself are a mason or lying scum.aioqwe wrote:That was seriously bad claiming. GG.
vote: CKD
Vote aioqweas per above.
That said, I don't see why it was assumed that CKD was non-steadfast.-

Okay. Assuming that you did "key in" on the possibility that CKD may be recruited, can you explain why it was pro-town to push a claimed-mason lynch?aioqwe wrote:
In my read through I just keyed in on that and didn't think about steadfasts. My bad.Skruffs wrote:Great, now the cultists can infiltrate the mason society, if that's what he is.-

There are cases against him and I felt there was a strong enough case against him as scum. Furthermore, I don't think that the proper mason play is to claim as what skruffs said would be applicable. Thus, I felt that it was a bad claim and he was scum.
Furthermore, if I'm going to counter-claim, I'd make it more obvious. I hate iffy counterclaims that are like, you know, I meat be mason I might not be...-

firstly i am surprised to wake up and find that i still wasn't recruited, which means good news, but i need to clarify this...
Mod:If i attempt to shoot tonight, then get culted, will my kill go through?
also we need to figure out what the hell happened at the deadline, at least two people came off as REALLY scummy, my thoughts later on that.Sure one more time for fun.-

I didn't see his claim until after I had voted for him.
My brain stalled out at that point, and I came back to find we'd already hit deadline. It looks really crappy, and I'm not proud of it. I didn't keep my vote on him because I thought he was a mason that could be recruited though, and I think during the night I saw that he actually claimed unrecruitable mason. I kept my vote on him because I thought his play was scummy. I guess, though, that knowing that he AND springlullaby were masons, and presuming they were masons together, it really helps to explain my suspicions on both of their behaviors.
Two people who obviously are NOT masons are both myself and SlySly. Obviously, I'm going to look at slysly next.
