Ouch... congratulations, OGML and Bat. I fear this game went down when I did what I did at the end of D3, and Jester and I started tearing each other apart as a consequence Too bad that I did not think that the other "opportunistic TNE/SA voter" could have been really opportunistic scum, too.

Now that I see the situation, it seems painful how close a scum lynch could have been with Bat. And I think that even then, things would have been pretty tough if scum were smart and NKed Mizzy, leaving OGML, Jester and myself for D5.

Yeah I guess we'll have to wait and hear Jester's opinion on it but with the venom between you and him on day four I was very willing to throw bat under the bus, NK mizzy and take my chances with the two of you. Somehow I think one of you would have voted for the other one before too long in that situation.

Finale - "And All My Dreams, Torn Asunder"

Jester. He was a visionary, a man with the gift of seeing what others do not.

Unfortunately for him, history makes it clear what happens to visionaries who dare to challenge the consensus of society. There was Jesus... who got nailed to a stake by the Romans. There was Galileo... who found that he had a choice between recanting and death. There was Bruno... burned at the stake for daring to believe that there could be life on other worlds. There was Darwin... who was ridiculed and reviled for daring to challenge the traditional view of creation.

And now there is Jester, hanging by a noose in the middle of the town square.

However, that is not the only death that came this day, because OhGodMyLife and Battousai knew that the hour of victory had arrived. They pulled out their guns and aimed - OhGodMyLife at Mizzy, Battousai at Nyktorion.

Mizzy, staunch stalwart of the town, never had a chance to read the "Innocent Townie" card she pulled out of Jester's jacket. Nyktorion never had a chance to realize just how badly his mistake would cost him. They were both dead, shot in the head, and nobody was left to bury them.

Not even me. As soon as the Mafia had control, they hauled out a stash of holy water I hadn't noticed and exorcised the town. I cannot touch them now.

As Jester correctly guessed, this setup was designed as an attempt to balance the Mountainous setup (which I believe is slightly tilted towards the scum).

Unfortunately, there were two players who, IMO, screwed over the town royally: mozsuggs and thenextepisode/Something Awesome. (Mozsuggs: do I really need to explain how he screwed over the town? Thenextepisode/Something Awesome: TNE lurked horribly and failed to submit a night choice N1 (which I consider one of the deciding factors in the scum win.) Even more importantly, his replacement (SA) allowed himself to be lynched through inactivity when he could not only have cleared himself but also probably deprived the Mafia of at least their N3 kill (since he had two abilities that could screw the Mafia kill)._

The rules also wound up favoring the Mafia: the deadline rules fed the Town's indecision and allowed the Mafia to control the crucial Day 3 lynch. (Also, as you can now see from the Mafia Goon PM, the Mafia had another advantage courtesy of the No Lynch rules - the town would be forced to decide on a lynch before the Mafia would have to kill.)

In addition to this, both OhGodMyLife and Ectomancer played a near-flawless game, for which they should be commended.
