Let me lay this out for you:

We have 5 people left right now:

ABR, MBF, Joudas, Macavenger, Pyrodwarf.

ABR, I think we've all pretty much agreed upon, is town due to his Near replacement status (and in no part due to his play, which has been decidedly scummy, imo).

This means that 2 of (MBF, Joudas, Macavenger, Pyro) are scum. Or werewolves, as it were.

MBF:
-Was on the Coron wagon day 1. Last survivor to have been. As has been noted, due to the speed of the lynch and the last second status, this isn't much of a tell.
-Refused to claim at L-1.
+Yosarian was going at him pretty hardcore day 2 (and vice versa). Yosarian is now confirmed scum. This didn't strike me as bussing.

I find it unlikely that MBF is scum. I know I'm town, this leaves Pyro and Macavenger.

I've been up in Pyro's shit for a while now and it seems to have been for the most part overlooked. I am, therefore, much more willing to lynch him then Mac, on whom my vote would be largely based on process of elimination.

One of two things will happen here:
1) You'll lynch me for "attempted speedlynching" (and/or I'll get speedlynched) as Albert is trying to do, it seems, and Albert will feel like a moron.
2) We'll lynch Pyro and, when his role is revealed and we go into night 4, Albert will feel like a moron.

Either way, I like the end result.

Honestly, if it wasn't for Albert's Near replacement status, I'd be all over him. His play this game has been ridiculously scummy.

Couple quick thoughts before I go to bed for the night -

Why are we voting? This is, under any remotely sane assumption about the setup, LyLo. I can kinda understand the Pyro votes since he was discussed as a likely lynch for today yesterday, but still...

Yosarian flipping Werewolf is further evidence that Guardian was 'naive' IMO. Flavorwise, cops generally find mafia, not werewolves. Technically, Guardian could have been sane, as Claus apparently hinted to him, but still get no results because there were no mafia in the game for him to find.

More tomorrow when I'm less tired.

Not only was Pyro discussed yesterday, but he's the scummiest one here, and by process of elimination, is almost certainly part of the remaining scum-group. He's by far the safest option.

Agreed. Also, if we're going to speculate on flavor, keep in mind that bullets have been killing people, not bitemarks. Yosarian may have been a godfather-type werewolf in a triad of scum with the other two as his guilty mafia goons.

It's a tough decision, as both of them have played better than a lot of the town, and both have been ignored by Yosarian. But if the second scum is Pyro, then the last scum is Mac, and I'm fairly sure about that. I just cannot see Pyrodwarf being scum with Joudas. Joudas was going after Pyro pretty intently, and Pyro seemed threatened by Joudas. I've already said this in posts 1412 and 1422.

I took a moment to think about the possibility of a Yos-Joudas-Mac scumgroup, and that seems plausible too. Mac and Joudas have been defending each other for most of the game, until they had to be suspicious by the "process of elimination". But Pyro is definitely scum. He and Yosarian took the same path of accusing Guardian of being scum when they were backed into a corner. Also, he accidentally revealed that he knew Yos was scum in post 1410.

I don't think Pyro is scum at all. If you look at the suspicion patterns, the last scum-pair point to macavenger and joubert.

If Joudas weren't scum, the real ones would have jumped on his case a while ago. I'm telling you mine. His speedlynch attempt. Macavenger's hesitation. It all correlates to them being scum.

Joudas is infinitely more scummier, and there is NO WAY he can be discounted by playing the newbe card. If you vote for Pyro again, Mac will just come in for the hammer and that will be it.

And if he does, it'll only be because he's bussing his partner. I don't see the argument for Yos / Joudas / Mac scum team. I do see the argument for Pyro. He's said a number of scumtastic things throughout the game that've basically been ignored; I usually don't advocate process of elimination type lynches, but this one makes sense.

Uh, no you can't be convinced on Pyro tomorrow, ABR. I'll be dead, and you'll never listen to somebody you think is scum. So we need to decide right now who the scumteam is. Honestly, I thought we had decided this yesterday, but you continue to be insistent on Pyro's innocence, so let's review.

On Yosarian:

Pyro scarcely ever mentioned Yosarian, talked to him directly never.

Joudas didn't see scum in Yos once, agreed with him twice, never talked to him directly.

Mac defended Yosarian, and tried to shift ABR's vote from him to Pyro.

On Joudas:
Pyro argued with Joudas a bit, talked to him directly thrice
Mac defends Joudas. A lot. Check post 803 (his 91st)
Yos never talked about Joudas ever.

On Mac:
Pyro agreed with Mac at least five times, talked to him directly once.
Joudas didn't see scum in Mac five times, never talked to him directly.
Yos lightly suspected Mac for trying to direct the cop, not much after that.
Minor: Mac intended to work on his reply during the night, regardless of who dies. Because he knew he wouldn't be dead in the morning.

On Pyro:
Joudas made his case against Pyro early, during Yos's attack on me, and talked directly to him often.
Mac defends Pyro four or five times, throws suspicion on him once.
Yos only talked about Pyro in hit-and-run suspicion

Overall, I can admit that perhaps I was too concerned with finding the third scum to question whether or not Pyro is actually the second. I'm still not convinced he's not scum though. Nor that Joudas is scum, but that's changing quickly. More later.
