Protip:

Acting like a jackass in a game where anyone can score a vig kill is all kinds of stupid.

I doubt that coins are spread evenly. There will be roles to bring new coins into the system.

Not everyone who isn't a toad is scum. Every role is dressed as a toad.

Call this wild speculation... but I would expect to see mario in this game, and I seriously doubt he would be anti-town.

Why would you refuse an exchange based on that? You have already mentioned that him doing this does not mean he is town. This should be enough. You are intentionally standing in the way of confirming someones claim and I just don't see a reason for it.

I think that a third person should inspect the item also. We cant take chances on a Gimbo/Surye scumpair, though I doubt it. I don't mind doing this.

It doesn't make me town, but it helps to build a better picture of Gimbo, which is something which can only be beneficial.

1) Now that Gimbo has claimed, there is no real way that we can ensure that saftey of Gimbo if he is tellling the truth. We are just going to have to rely on protecting roles(which in an item based game- there is no real guarantee of one).

2) This means that Gimbo can't wait for a decent power role thats worth reviving, which is the only dangerous prospect for scum.

3) Given 1 and 2. Would scum really be willing to go one for one on something so trivial?

A game with these sort of mechanics would require a few scum to mess with coins.

I would say due to the mechanics and to the flavor we have two scum groups/individuals at least. Possibly one or two more.

Don't try to build a meta against me with so few games under my belt...

Between gimbo's constant craplogic that he can't be touched for and a push on cream that just doesn't seem all that strong... this game leaves little to go into depth about.

I should re-read and try to pull something from what seems to be 25 pages of fluff.

The case against me seems to be that I took part in a slightly strange bandwagon and I made a badly spaced out post explaining it...

Pheob on the other hand is blatently role fishing and has now basicly claimed with very little encouragement to do so.

Eek.

Due to the role-reveal system I will claim in what may be my deathbed.

I am DK. If at any point in the game I get 10 coins I get the super banana.

The banana itself is tasty enough to allow a player to become immune to night kills for the rest of the game. However... the peel is far too slippery for its own good and would stop that player from using night actions for the rest of the game.

I suppose its some sort of permement jailor.

By the way guys. If you are really set on lynching me... put your money where your noose is. The banana I get is an ITEM. I can be confirmed in the same way gimbo was.
When I said " at any point" I meant day or night.

To be honest I have just found it hard to get into this game as awesome as the flavour is. Maybe that led to slightly strange voting... though I stand by my votes and the reactions of the town toward them.

As far as I am concerned DK is a role that could easily go either and all ways. I dont think the name alone can swing it.

just wondering...

1)where are you proposing you get these 10 coins from?

2)isn't a permanent jail-keeper item a little unbalanced, especially considering that you didn't claim to have a night action in the first place?

3)now that you're asking us to wait for you to magically scrounge up the money, can't you just lie to us, and keep yourself alive for days on end while we wait for you to end your imaginary brokeness, and buy an imaginary banana?

in other words, i'm not buying it.
I would condone that the rest of the town give me the coins. I said "at any point" that means at any point. I don't need to wait to night for my item. Then I can confirm the same way gimbo was.

The possible outcomes are this.

1) I am confirmed and we get on with the real scumhunting.

2) I keep the cash and I am not confirmed, you lynch me. The town loses 10 coins.

10 coins= two investigations by the way... I would easily trade that for a scum lynch day one. Wouldn't you.

6PM GMT tommorow...First post

I am up for a Rice lynch... lets be honest... its that or accept my own lynch, which I do not think will benifit the town in any way.

Vote: Riceballtail

At least if I survive to night I force the scum to choose between my claim and Gimbo... hopefully.

Dont suppose we have a chance of a deadline extension mod... things are happening

Can't blame me for trying.

Mod: nope, date of deadline has been known since the start of D1

More believable than a "Super Banana".
