I am a miller (whatever that REALLY is) my PM says i would come up as scum if investigated, so obviously if you all decide to lynch me it wouldn't necessarily hurt the town all that much since from what I can tell, theres 6 townies and 1 scum left, hardly lylo.

but its the truth of the matter, I am a miller, I looked it up on wiki and PMd the mod to see if i was missing anything, and it looks like I am just a vanilla that comes up guilty when investigated.

I am not even close to buying this claim. You could easily have worked out this claim with the whole scene outlaid by Popular in quoting Rice. Now, that you know that Rice was a hunter and that you where the topic of his interest. I agree you where cleaver in claiming this, but it is not feasible to purchase. I highly doubt this is the story you would have told yesterday in a role claim when you where on the verge of being lynched. More to be said later.....

and I know it seems highly suspicious, but theres nothing i can say to disprove it if the cop investigated me i would have gotten a guilty result whether I am town or scum.

I just read the role description in wiki. Did the Mode tell you the meaning of the role? It indicates that it would be less meaningful to reveal that to the player. These two quotes seem to contradict each other, they indicate the mod told you the meaning of the role, but then you say you did not know what the role was until you read it from wiki. This contradiction makes it seem less likely that you are that role, and the mod did not tell you the meaning of it. Rather, it seems like you where role claim investigating by reading the roles from wiki so you could claim a role that would explain your behavior. Now, you claim this, quickly after popular sets up a case from Rice's kill. I do not like it.

Not sure about Darla's claim. It seems pretty convenient timing. Darla, what's the flavour justification for your role? Flavour rolename? Given the way the night scenes and my own role PM were written, I highly doubt that yours just said "You're a miller. You investigate as guilty." Also, why did you choose to claim now and not on Day 2 when you said you were going to?

@ goborage: Millers aren't always open setup, I've seen at least one closed game with a miller.

I got my PM, and I PMd the Mod, while i was waiting I looked it up on Wiki and what I found out was confirmed, by mod.

and Amor, I fully entended to claim, but several people warned me against it, and I headed their warning. Now we have proof of a cop type role and people thinking it was me he investigated (probably was) and I figured now was as good a time as any to claim, and explain why Rice would have found me to be guilty.

The whole PM had more flavor to it, but the role itself is a Miller, I would quote it but I think I read somewhere in rules not too. (that could have been one of my other games too idr)

Either way this is what happened:

I PMd Mod asking about it

While waiting I Wiki'd it

Mod PMs back confirming what I read on Wiki

I think the role is luz personally but you take what you get. Also like I said before, obviously my role isn't a PR that's beneficiary to the town, and its not lylo, so my death wouldn't be as bad as losing any other PRs (mine isnt even really a PR) that could help the town win.

I wish I had more to offer as far as night results and stuff, but I don't, and what is breadcrumbing?

ok checked the bradcrumbing thing, and it didn't really explain the concept of it, only gave an example of it.

however, if I DID do it, it was completely unintentional, and by a stroke of luck.

I can't really prove my role (and tbh i don't even get the purpose of having a miller) but I can say that I do hope to never have the role of miller again
