Honestly, give me ONE bad scenario that could come out of this. Just one. and if you still done think 1-for-1 is worth it for town, you're missing the big picture. It's actually 2 for 1. You get a mostly confirmed town, alive, and a scum dead. And if I give it back, you get 1 mostly confirmed town, and maybe a chance to use it tomorrow if we can defend him. I'm not sure how you could envision this as ANYTHING negative. The reason I'm happy to do it is because I am the only who has claimed no items. The trade + trade back thing seems valid, though I don't see what it accomplishes besides prove Surye has no item. Pretty sure Gimbo has an item based on that farside thing, unless farside was just bluffing her item (which was probably the other reason Lawrencelot was talking about as the first post says there are no power roles), and again his claim is confirmable by itself.

He only pointed out that there were no "regular" power roles (cop, vig, etc.)

I also approve of the trade/trade back motion. It is Gimbo's chance to verify himself, and Surye gets lynched if he doesn't give it back.

I don't like the evolving role of Gimbo but he has agreed to trade the mushroom so I believe him for. I don't see the suspicion of Surye, it makes sense most of us won't start with items and he has said he'll give it back.

Hi guys, I had school, but now I am back. Look, right now I am scared for my life and if the town can agree that Surye is trustworthy, by all means,

. However in return I want coins to buy myself a mushroom to save myself (in case* because I don't want to die) or a mushroom from anyone.

This could 1) prove that I am telling the truth if Surye gets the item and he confirms me and 2) prove Surye most likely townie if he uses it to revive the D1 or N1 lynch, whichever one is townie (or if both is townie, choose the better player to revive).

Also, the posts by Surye and armlx does make sense for those who are (still) suspicious of me. Why would this game give the scums an item like that? There are 24 players and giving a scum something like that really doesn't make a fair game in my opinion.

Completely possible, and had you been paying attention, that's been stated before. Again, this action ONLY serves to confirm you. It also, again, cannot unconfirm you.

And I'm assuming since you got an unlisted item as your start, other players have started with items that are not listed to buy, and I'm hoping one of those protects another at night, and we would be possibly wasting it if we could not confirm you. Even if your scenario where true, there is more benifit for town.
