He may have been very hasty bringing you to L-1 but it was a very good method of getting you to talk. I don't really see why you claimed though. It doesn't really serve much of a purpose except that it's either a scum hoping that he's safe by claiming so early, a power role hoping that he's safe by claiming so early, or a townie that hasn't thought things through.

I didnt want to make an easy lynch. As geraintm said earlier in the thread, Mafia never hammer.

Well I think DWS sort of doesn't need explaining right now. Wumbo didn't really defend himself when he was at L-1 which strikes me as odd and Chenhsi is just giving me a gut feeling which is probably nothing.

I'm not one for huge posts but at least I feel that I can articulate my thoughts and back them up with evidence when asked. I'm tempted to vote for Chenhsi but I want to give him another chance. At least try and say who's raised your suspicions.

Why the unnecessary remainder of doubt placed on Wumbo? Do you consider that last possibility to be valid or not? Because the sentence seems weirdly unnecessary.
It was a weak joke. Don't take it to seriously.

You listed everyone the people talked about... and also contradicted yourself on Wumbo. Why the sudden change of heart?
While I was gone Wumbo had been put on L-1 and a hell of a lot of fingerpointing was going on. I was reading it and was eager to see what Wumbo had to say about being put on L-1 and.... he didn't mention it at all.

Can you give an example of such evidence? To me, all mafia votes are gut feelings explained in a logical manner. Mafia isn't a game of debating.[/quote]

I don't really get what you're asking here. It would be basically a normal vote except I doubt I'd take it off quite as fast.

StrangerCoug and Imaginality seem the most pro-town. You, maxwellhouse, Cass, nhat and geraintm are most likely town in my book, but max does need to post a bit more. Tom and Kenfucius don't give me much of a read. Chen.... Really annoys me but I see no reason to doubt his claim of cop. DWS seems very suspicious but he could just be a fellow newbie. Wumbo is 50/50 at the moment.

You could be a fellow newbie. But your post targeting nhat is one of many very suspicious posts and the newbie card should not be a get out of jail free card. Seeing as we're only a few days away from the deadline I feel comfortable voting for you.

Well if my counting is correct DWS is at L-2. I found Chen scummier but the fact that no one counter claimed was enough for me to remove my vote. But now, I'm more than happy to remove my vote from DWS and take him down to L-3. If we get to the deadline and there are more votes on DWS then Chenhsi I will change though as I don't want a no-lynch on day 1.

The way I see it there are a few options:

A) Max is scum and trying to get us to lynch another townie.

B) Max is insane so DWS is innocent.

C) Max is sane and DWS is scum.

What Litral said about Chenshi's role being Town Cop is a pretty good point. At the moment I'm debating whether or not I should vote for DWS or Max. Either way, it looks like one will be lynched today and one tomorrow.

How many other people do we have that we could lynch? If DWS is lynched and shows up as town, then Max should investigate himself. If DWS shows up as Mafia, Max can investigate someone else. If he gets guilty on them too then maybe it's worth debating before they are lynched.

So, you want my actions?

Night 1: Investigated imaginality. Obviously he was home. I investigated him because he was the most pro-town player in my point and if he was away from home I would have pegged him as a power role. Of course, he could have also been mafia or serial killer or some other scum role but eh.

Night 2: Investigated Wumbo. He hasn't posted much and I was interested to see if he was a scum trying to go under the radar or possibly a power role keeping quiet. Unfortunately I was told that he was at home, so I guess he's just a normal townie.

Anyway, with regards to nhat's role it seems really powerful, especially considering we've had two cops and all. I guess if I want to stay alive I have to

I figured that Max would investigate DWS. I did think of investigating Wumbo but I went with Imaginality because if he was a power role then I thought that if he claimed I could claim to back him up. Looking back Wumbo would have been a better day 1 choice, but what can I do? And besides, why is everyone so ready to take nhat's word? It is a very powerful role, and although this could be my inexperience it seems to powerful for a Mini.

A lynch is better then a no-lynch. Chen and DWS were the best two candidates for lynch and I went with Chen, figuring that DWS would be the day two lynch. It looks bad now but no one was complaining back then.

Despite how scummy he looked I didn't want a quick lynch. The possibilities of Max being a scum needed to be considered. Truth be told, I probably would have voted DWS if Day 2 had been just a few days longer. People seem to be going for what they hope is true instead of considering both possibilities. Hell, I did that on Day 2 myself with Max.
