That's fine, I like how you played hot potato with the attention on you, rather then address it too.Lowell wrote:Well that's actually not what you said, but regardless, when someone plays the "I realize I've been bad, guys, do what you want" card, that's when I start reading scum.

With 9 alive, 5 will lynch. One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.-

I agree with this, I don't see the Surye wagon going any further.Surye wrote:

Also, I'll be out of town until the 7th.
How about a wagon with some substance? Lowell would be a nice start. Here, I'll help.

Surye is actually playing the game and contributing well now, and Lowell is bandwagoning again.
I agree with this though, and want to keep my eye on Surye as time goes on:
We're ahead of the game now, and I still think Lowell is scum, so it's a good bet for today.Lowell wrote:when someone plays the "I realize I've been bad, guys, do what you want" card, that's when I start reading scum.-

You can look back to day 1 to see my reasons for being suspicious of Lowell. The fact that he's on the bottom of the list of 5 people I'm suspicious of means nothing, as I see the Lowell wagon as most productive currently.TDC wrote:icemanE wrote: My list of potential scum at this stage in the game:

That is in order from scummiest to least scummy.
I think this needs elaboration.icemanE wrote: I agree with this, I don't see the Surye wagon going any further.

I know why you are suspicious of Lowell, that's not at all the point.icemanE wrote:

Yesterday you were very sure that Lowell is scum, you even said this:
But instead of starting the day with a vote on Lowell you do a PBPA of Johoohno and come to the conclusion that no less than four people are actually more scummy than him.iceman wrote: I feel that if Johoono's play leads to him being scum, then Lowell's case should be treated the same way tomorrow.
And know you vote for him anyway.
Do you still think Surye, Cele, Sir T and I are more likely to be scum than Lowell?-

Yesterday we didn't know for sure yet that Johoono was scum. That makes a huge difference in the way I look at things.Yesterday you were very sure that Lowell is scum, you even said this:
I would vote for any of the 5 candidates on that list.Do you still think Surye, Cele, Sir T and I are more likely to be scum than Lowell?-

Would it be more reasonable to attack you for coming out of nowhere and hammering him if he flipped town? I don't think so, as if you're scum you'd know what Jo was anyways. Which would allow you to clear yourself with a statement like ^.Are we seriously going to attack me now for hammering scum?
I think the Lowell wagon is more productive because it has some momentum currently. I don't see a wagon on anyone else rolling too far, and since I think the Lowell wagon is a good one I don't see a reason to try to force another.-

You didn't really contribute to anything the johoo wagon either. In fact you tried to debunk it by saying you are worried that scum might be on the wagonLowell wrote:No, it isn't. If someone wants to give me a reason I'd answer. If not, Iceman is still the play for today. There wasn't a lot of movement at the end of the day yesterday between joohoo and ice votes. Their both being scum explains why.-

Well I was. But that's not the point.
What I'm saying is nothing happened in the waning moments of the competing joohoo/iceman wagons. Usually scum don't tip their hands, but if they do, it's usually in a situation like this when they'll risk saving their buddy if they can push another wagon along. The fact that ice's wagon didn't get any late swing-votes makes me think scumteam didn't really have a preference, meaning they're of the same alignment.-
