Well then, I'll explain rules for new people:
1. Don't get lynched. You die - you lose
2. Pray that your scumread won't run away, so giving away your scumread isn't best idea
Ofc, you're thinking that our goal is to lynch scum and all that, but think realistically - how likely is to hit scum in 15v2 setup, where everyone play for survival instead of trying lynch their scumread?-

Stuff like this ends up being more correct than not in hindsight. In post 50, Vecna wrote:lets just hang him and win the game in like 22 minutes
@Ramicus: Given what you said in 58, does DDL’s 35 look good to you?-

I don't see anything wrong with it - it's not unusual to keep your reads for post lynch in this gameIn post 59, Salamence20 wrote:

Still more likely than 13v1 where those conditions are the same. Town is much more likely to win by lynching scum D1 in this setup. If we let someone powerlynch their scumread then we're all better off for it, no?In post 58, Ramcius wrote:Well then, I'll explain rules for new people:

It happened once in 5 games, so 20% town winrate on D1.In post 61, Klick wrote:

We will lynch someone, don't you worry about that, thing is that chances for our lynch to flip red is slim. Also, you have to consider how likely it is for 8 other people to agree with your scumread? Not likely, therefore you can just wait for post lynch and submit your scumread without care about other people - you don't need majority, you don't need consensus, only to guess scum correctly and you have scum flip to go on-

He literally said he'll do little to nothing, to me it looks like he isn't sharing his readsIn post 63, Salamence20 wrote:

I will try a bit different way to explain you - people don't really care for who gets lynched as long as they aren't the lynch. Logic behind this is simple - why do I have try to convince 8 people that I'm right, when I can just submit name after lynch happens and I have more info and being active will attract attention, which might lead to your lynch - being lynched is game over, cause you can't submit name afterwards. That said most people will do nothing and only post lynch we will get some quality discussionIn post 66, Salamence20 wrote:It looks to me like he doesnt intend on being an active participant.-

I haven't done the math, but I'm pretty sure the Private Investigator winrate is much lower than 20%.In post 64, Ramcius wrote:It happened once in 5 games, so 20% town winrate on D1.
Town's odds of winning this are admittedly low, but are much higher if they genuinely try their hardest to get scum lynched D1.
Getting reads out there also gives valuable information based on the flip if we get it wrong.-

Imma just repeat what Klick just said above.
We should be playing this game like a normal game until the first lynch.
Hiding/withholding info at this time seems somewhat detrimental. Id rather win this game as a team before becoming a FFA.
Id rather have most of the cards on the table before we lynch. I know why some people will disagree with me (because of the flee/bribe mechanics), but given the playerlist town’s odds are probably higher than what you and DDL think.-

I'm not stopping you from trying to powerlynch your scumread or anything, you can do all you like, I'm just giving you idea how this thing works, cause it's 3rd time I do this
Getting scumreads out before lynch doesn't give any advantages, we'll have 48 hours after flip and flee for a discussion, so alerting scum about your suspicion before they flee isn't best idea, if they aren't getting lynched. Getting out your townreads is different matter and you should do that, if your strong townread is getting wagoned-

Then why play mafia in general. In post 73, Ramcius wrote:I'll, clarify - people will discuss scumreads, don't you worry about that. But those not going to be their top scumreads, there is no real benefit winning as a team and convincing people to agree with you is hard
Getting people to lynch your scumreads is the objective of the game?
