Actually, I don't think the primary goal for the scum would be to kill a confirmed townie anyway. Look at it like this: to scum, populartajo is now confirmed not-Peach.

You make a valid point, but this sounds like something that isn't good to risk as if the scum are just going for the killing people method of winning it just lets them blow us out.

Considering there was only one kill last night (which I was pretty surprised by with the way this game works), it would take them a damn long time to work through the entire town.

I guess. I haven't really done the math, and discussing scum strategy much further seems like poor play as it just tells them how to play correctly.

Insane feathers...I find it unlikely, though I suppose the possibility cannot be ruled out. I would say that's picking at straws though.

Your comparison between the situation we have with Gimbo and the situation we will have with TSN if Gremwell is confirmed innocent isn't a good one in my opinion. Gimbo is only believed innocent because of the item he was holding. TSN would be believed innocent because of an investigation, which holds up a little better in my opinion.

Yes, the scum know not to nightkill popular, but let's not open a whole WIFOM argument about whether or not popular should bother getting the star and should instead just get a feather.

Mod: You probably won't be able to answer this but if you can, are the feather's investigation results accurate?

As for the coin claim if we gave all out coins to pop they would all be safe for the night, and those who didn't give them up would be prime lynch targets, those scum who did give up their coins would have no night items aside from whatever they are currently holding or their character powers (if any), and if pop confirms me and TSN then we can take a portion of the coins and then that night we can confirm or kill 3 more people, and so on and so forth.

That actually makes sense you know. It's very easy to check if people are hiding coins as well, as we just get them to give a coin anyway, and their transaction will fail if they don't have any coins.

Ok, according to my role/item PM, pop is not hiding anything. However, its possible that the shroom secretly changes alignment or something (known only to pop), I have no idea..so pop isn't as confirmed as you might think.

By that same token its also possible that the mushroom makes him supreme ruler the Philip Morris Co. and able to levy heavy tariffs on kraft dinners

I'd say that the mushroom does what it say it does, no more, no less.

I'd also venture a FOS on Alabaska J, if everyone gives up their coins you wouldn't need to protect yourself from a night kill because even the scum would be coin less, and why would you be a target without coins in such a big group?

Well pop has at least 8 coins already. I share Alabaska's concerns. If everyone gives all their coins then we are helping to direct NKs (ie anywhere but pop). This of course assumes that a non-item NK exists. Another danger is the previously brought up possibility of a scum coin stealing technique.

If neither of these scenarios exist then mass-coin pooling seems like a good idea. But for some reason I think the mod would have prepared measures against such a strat.

In short, I think 8 coins a day is plenty. But maybe we can shift around which players give on each day so that the same 8 aren't stuck with a chore.
Well if you're so sure what it ain't, how about tellin' us what it am!

This has been the best suggestion so far and i agree with it. The scum will never get to kill pop with the star. He can verify someone by targeting that person. If the person lives they are town. Then some coins are transfered (if enough exist) to do more test.
Sarcasm is just a way of saying how stupid you think someone is but in a more polite way.
