Maybe I will - Maybe I won't. Lynch me when this dream is over and the next begins, and what is gained? Nothing.

What is lost? Two power roles.

Mistakes happen - I made one. Im sorry, but as you yourself just said, it was a better chance than a random lynch. We wouldn't even be having this conversation if my information proved correct.

But the main point is that you shouldn't have came out with the information so early. We did what was right in that situation. And the next thing that is right in the situation is to lynch you. I'm not saying it's a certainty that you are lynched tomorrow, just that under normal circumstances you
should
be lynched. Obviously this game has a few other nuances that might change the natural order of things... We'll have to wait and see.

As for today, I got nothing at the moment.

MMCL-- if you had information why did you feel the need to come out with it in that other place. This is what I don't understand, why expose your self and play such a gambit and decrease the chance of collecting more information?

I know I advocated it earlier, but maybe it's not such a good idea to talk too much about the Town stuff when it's village day... it would be too easy to get distracted from trying to find the scum in the village.

I agree. We're pretty much playing two different games here and relating the two of them can end up giving me one major migraine ...

We could always tackle MMCL tomorrow ...

Does anyone have any ideas about the setup of either of these games?... It seems pretty obvious that we only have one killing group in each game... I'm just wondering how big the scum groups would be (for example).

i thought the point of dichotomafia was that we DO get to talk about both of them as they happen. that's what makes it different from just playing two normal games. or am i wrong here?

as to setup-- didn't norinel mention that all roles are standard roles? what exactly ARE standard roles for a werewolf game? are they generally the same as for mafia?

Seeing as our mod is using quite convential names for the roles and that I haven't see any weird roles yet, I expect this to be standard. So my guess would be 3 mafia in both town and village.

lulu - Yes we do get to talk about both games... but I felt we were talking about the Town happenings at the
expense
of talking about the village... Maybe it's just because it's Day 1 and Day 1s always suck for game conversation.

I think the value in being able to talk about both games is that those dead in one game can talk about it in the other. All the more reason a cop shouldn't come out in one if they're still alive in the other. They can still give their results after their death, one of the real fears in a typical game. I agree with Talitha that there's not a lot of value to talking about Town here today, and that there's certainly not any value to rehashing the question of what Mgm should have done.
It takes a village to raise a lynch mob.

well the standard werewolf roles are seer, angel and werewolf-

norinel has indicated that he changed the names of the roles.

Angel apparently is called healer

Seer is called ??

so those are straight basic roles.

Angel is the werewolf name for the mafia-hunting cop.
Archangel is the ww name for mafia-protecting doctor.
Seer, IIRC, is the ww-hunting cop; sorceror is the ww-protecting doc.

ah...the confusion in my brain
What is the point of using foul language, downright rudeness, slurs, etc on a gaming site? This is really distasteful.

you play differently then I do in terms of werewolf-- I guess each place tweaks names differently. Where i play Angel is Doc and Seer is Cop

if it is a mafia werewolf mix cop is cop

so interesting.

I'm not sure if discussing werewolf roles will get us anywhere either, for all kinds of reasons.

You mean IIRC doesn't mean "In IRC chat rooms"?

Oh well. Can we bandwagon someone for some crap reason now? It is day 1 you know.

Even though we didn't like MMCL sharing info so early, that day was at least a bit more exciting than this one :(

Actually, I was hoping for a
Vote Count
so I could see who already has a vote.

Who else is voting for me?
