Hey guys,

I'm terribly sorry for suddenly disappearing. The internet and phone lines were shut off here, and I didn't options to get online the last week. I couldn't really help that. What I should've done, though, was find a backup-/co-mod earlier. I was busy the last weeks and perhaps didn't search actively enough.

Lots of thanks go to MeMe and PJ, who managed to keep the game running. I hope PJ can mod the game to the finish, because I won't be able to get online again any time soon. Again, apologies for all this. I was really enjoying modding this game, and it's a shame I don't get to finish its flavor.

Holy cow. Gobo, protection?

Thinking Greasy should be the lynch today. No-killing three nights in a row to back up a doc claim would be total insanity, especially last night when doing so would be the difference between putting the town in LyLo or not.

Wow. At this point I'm seriously considering the remaining scu, having no kills.

I'd like to hear who Gobo protected before I make any decisions, but a Greasy Spot lynch sounds good to me right now.

I protected SoW again. TBH I think there's something odd going on. I doubt that I got 3 protects in a row.

I'm leaning towards there being another scum group without an NK. It's the only thing that makes sense atm.

Very much doubt there's a second scumgroup with no kill. How would 2 scum with a kill ever be balanced against a group of 2 scum without a kill? Doesn't make any sense. I could see some possibility of a remaining wolf without a kill, but I doubt it. I think Occam's Razor applies here - I believe goborage got three successful protections, particularly since once there was no kill I had guessed he was going to claim SoW. The sequence makes sense to me - kill me for being very protown, kill SoW for kinda hinting he might have a power, kill SoW again for the same and trying to outguess the doc that he wouldn't protect the same target twice in a row. It's also possible that scum (especially if Greasy) failed to submit a kill one of those nights.

Regardless of if the remaining scum(s) have a kill or not, I still firmly believe they're within {gobo, Greasy, Amor}. Even if you don't treat SoW and I as confirmed by night actions, I think it's reasonable to clear both of us from our daytime play. It's not like anyone was surprised by us getting doc-confirmed.

Personal belief at this point is that goborage is the doc, with one remaining wolf and successful protections the last three nights. The remaining wolf is then either Greasy or Amor, more likely Greasy.

Well I was thinking about a balanced set-up. Only 2 scum with an NK in a 12 player game seems kind of unfair. My hypothesis is that there's a second group with end-game powers (i.e. endgame scum > NK scum if it came down to just those 4).

What does everyone else think?

I was in a game where one of the scum was a "trainee" so if both his teammates were dead he couldn't make the kill. That could be what we have here. The other possibility I can think of is a third party role with no kill, but are there any of those that town would have to kill before the game ends? Maybe lyncher?

Of course, it's always possible gobo just got lucky on his protects. Either way, Greasy Spot seems the obvious choice here.
