He took some time in the bathtub; the water ratios were showing very positive numbers, and the filtration system was finally online. Everything was going his way.

With a smile on his face, and his KW bathrobe on, he opened the door to his private residence in the shelter and then felt the uncomfortable feeling of some sort of cold liquid flowing over his feet.

"What the--?"

he shouted, and looked down. There was Firebringer, his ribcage hacked open with some sort of blade.

"Dear Kanye!"

he exclaimed, invoking the most powerful being he could think of.

Mostly though, he was thinking how he'd need another shower after this.

Xtoxm checked the tally for survivors and was concerned. Why was the lifesign monitor not showing PenguinPower? He went out to the former corpse of alimdia and found PenguinPower lying on top, a bullet in his front, his hands gripping a few rounds of heavy ammo.

"A bullet wound?"

Xtoxm asked, looking closer.

"Hmm."

He looked down and saw a walkie talkie laying next to the corpse as well. Picking it up he picked it up and asked,

"Skitter, you there? I got a body here and I've never seen this type of wound before."

But Skitter wasn't there; it must have been tuned to the wrong channel. Sighing, he looked down the valley. They needed good people to have a hope in this world, and good people were rapidly running out.

Skitter asked as she head down to the riverbank.

"Maybe we could catch another one of those crazy dolphins...?"

Her questioning trailed off as she saw the leg of popsofctown twitching and prone. The breath escaping her body, she rushed forward and looked down at popsofctown.

She shook her head. The body had been blasted by lasers.
