Finally got here while the thread was open!

People seem to be forgetting a mechanic from the original games. Read the Goon PM's from Bad Idea 1 and 2: the Goons served as backup for the Godfather. (IIRC, in the first game they were just listed as Mafia Goon upon death, so that counterargument does not hold.)

I don't think it's inconceivable that we have another Godfather lying around somewhere. I'm going to make an intuitive leap here and say that, if said Godfather exists, his name is probably Xtoxm (brought up the BOGUS "Godfather is dead, so Mafia can't have a daykill" argument and killed Day 5 - read "immediately after the first Godfather died).

Two players are pretty much confirmed townie at this point - forbiddanlight and myself, who both killed while the original Godfather was alive. For the time being, I trust all other players not named Xtoxm who have made a kill.

You obviously didn't read his post well enough to just say you're clear, we can't be sure of that, especially because strangely, the scum haven't been picking off players that would be confirmed due to them shooting someone, that leads me to believe that there may be a replacement GF that can fire a bullet, and Tar may be right about it being you.

But you're right with your 2nd point, forget hypocopping now, if any Cops have any guilties now, just come out with them, I want all living players to say whether or not they are a cop with a guilty result before ANYBODY SHOOTS ANYONE, that includes if someone has already said they are a Cop with a guilty result on someone, there may be another cop who also wants to claim a guilty on another player.

If anybody shoots before all the living players have checked in and posted whether or not they are a Cop with a guilty result, I shall assume them to be scum and shoot them when I think the time is right

(i.e. After everyone has checked in about having a guilty result the next day). If you are a Cop, but you have not got a guilty result, just say you are not a cop with a guilty result, do not say that you are a Cop, but you haven't got a guilty result, k.

Why haven't they shot shooters before though? Logic says that they would have tbh if they knew that all shooters are confirmed townies.

Although, I have 1 other main suspect than you: Flea, who shot a scum, but is still alive, and has lurked ever since killing dcorbe. I have a fairly strong feeling he might be the GF who decided to kill a scum to make him look town, and is lurking to make people not notice him.

Well, Kale implied multiple cops, right? I've been thinking their cop hunting, but now it's looks like they've stopped bothering and killing townies, probably because too many are cleared and they haven't found any cops, maybe even not worried much about them?

I'm not sure I believe this 'replacement godfather' idea. Where's it come from? Goons can't shoot, right, so if there is a replacement he'd have gotten his power to shoot after the first godfather died, or what?

Actually, i'd say we have at least 7 left.

40 players in the game, 3:1 makes 10:30, however with EVERY town member having power i'd say it could be something like 12 or 13.
