I would guess the bolded is more or less a direct quote from his role PM, and that he read this and didn't realise that "reviver" referred to himself, not anyone else, and the 'Cheat Death' part was an explanation of this, not a separate power. SSK, I'm pretty sure you won't get in trouble for just confirming that I'm on the right track here, if I am.

However, I don't think this says anything much about his alignment, since it would be pretty easy to replace "One-Shot

They say that love is the most powerful force in the universe. Especially when concentrated into a coherent beam of destruction. And especially when the "love" involved is that of the religious fanatic.

It's time to test that theory out.

Before you lies a Hadoken Generator (where did it come from? In this mindfrak of a reality, who knows? Who cares?) - a spirit bomb of the highest quality, complete with user's manual and lots and lots of quality technobabble. Behind it lies MafiaSSK, who has been chosen by the meme of lynching as the Generator's first victim.

There is a terrible ghastly silence. There is a terrible ghastly noise. There is a terrible ghastly silence. And MafiaSSK is no more.

But something is wrong.

You go to MafiaSSK's house. There's nothing there.

You go to the records facility - they have no records of MafiaSSK.

You go to the Hadoken Generator to see what it can make of the utter lack of any sign of MafiaSSK's remains. It reads "Results Fuzzy - Try Again Later."

Where did MafiaSSK's remains go? You'll need them to tell if he was a threat to your existence... but they're nowhere to be found.

You head back to the pocket of stability that is your town, resolving to search again for the remains... only to be surprised beyond your wildest dreams. MafiaSSK is standing in front of you. He must be one hell of a resilient meme...

Another morning, another person missing from your little group. Today, it's Macavenger who seems to have disappeared from this world.

You head over to his place of residence to see what you can dig up. It's clearly not a place meant for family visits - the entire place is filled with computer equipment. Processors, hard drives, neural jacks, displays of Matrix code - you name it, Macavenger seems to have it. There's also a closet with a truly staggering number of black leather trenchcoats and sunglasses.

By the time you find the body, it's already clear who Macavenger was. What you can't seem to figure out is what he was doing. There's nothing in the house that would allow you to make that distinction...

... "Hey, wait a minute, he's plugged into the frakking Matrix!"

One of you plugs yourself into the same neural jacks that Neo had used, and quickly finds the truth - the part of the Matrix that Neo had last been in was a deathmatch arena based on Unreal Tournament (Deck 16, to be precise - never can go wrong with Decking time!), carrying a sniper rifle and a spent Redeemer.

Jenter probably did kill himself, but I think Mac also targeted him that night. With MafiaSSK, I don't think an outside role can change people's alignment, only his when he get's lynched (thus we still have the same amount of scum to hunt as before). The scum wouldn't know this, so people who voted/campaigned for his lynch can be scum.
