I'm less likely to learn your alignment hearing you comment on g9's townslips or lack thereof than I am hearing you talk about anything else. You have a hardtown partner so if you could be cleared that would be really good. Hearing you read G9.bananas who is somewhat of a burner slot given my agency over it is just sure to give me the least associatives. The enemy's low! Get 'em Starmie!-

it only just occurred to me that there are bananas in gentleman 9's avatar...
not sure if it was because i was distracted by his dashing good looks or something, but it just never occurred to me that this is why you are calling him 'bananas'
thought he just wasn't making much sense or somethingThe content of this post comes from a player who is most certainly aligned with the town and isdefinitely, absolutely, 100% without questionnot a vampire, warlock or werewolf.-

I think that's a reasonable assumption. You have to be real confident in their abilities. In post 2380, Gentleman 8 wrote:unless you're suggesting "the only reason scum would ever want to partner together in a setup like this is if they know each other", not sure what point you're getting at-

yeah, you would. but there are other ways you could determine that than just knowing who someone is
unless someone has some new angle i haven't considered here, i'd rather move away from the whole "gentleman 7 interactions definitely make her town" to what she's done that actually looks townThe content of this post comes from a player who is most certainly aligned with the town and isdefinitely, absolutely, 100% without questionnot a vampire, warlock or werewolf.-

Well yeah, I certainly disagree that G7 interactions make L6 town. Even if you assume that scum would never pair with each other, it very well could have been distancing since L6 never really even entertained the possibility of accepting him.In post 2433, Gentleman 8 wrote:unless someone has some new angle i haven't considered here, i'd rather move away from the whole "gentleman 7 interactions definitely make her town" to what she's done that actually looks town-

I don't really see that being faked in any worldI completely agree. I'm not 100% pre-ordercommitted to them being the endgame pair, but I'm confident they're both town.

I want to hear your take on what the proposal meansIn post 1365, Lady 2 wrote:Would either G2 or G7 flipping scum help your reads to a significant degree?
I guess G7 flipping scum would be more informative given his proposal to L6.
also reading up to this point in L2's ISO L1 seems to have had some much worse takes than I initially thought just reading her posts, now that I see how L2 is responding I do't like L1's pushes much at all I thinkIt’s amazing! These amazing fireworks surely befit the beginning of the end!-

The only situation I can imagine in which Gentleman 9 isn't corrected on his assumption in the scum PT is if the third partner is also a chronic low-poster like Gentleman 7 was, and there has been basically no strategy discussion between them. I don't really see any person which that would apply to.In post 2387, Gentleman 4 wrote:VOTE: G6/L1
I don't get why we are townreading G9 for assuming that there is only one vote out per dance. It seems consistent with his earlier philosophy that mafia want to pair with people that they can work well with, but I don't find it town indicative and it's more like it explains his earlier pushes. Still need to re-evaluate his slot as a whole, but that's what I'm thinking.
What?In post 2383, Gentleman 5 wrote:And also with Gent 4 saying I just can't read him, and Lady 4 kind of vouching there
Unfortunately my response to this will probably be meaningless to you, but knowing who Gentleman 7 is, that kind of random play is completely within his wheelhouse. One of my working theories is again that he assumed (and assumed incorrectly) who Lady 6 was, and that was why he decided to troll her.In post 2388, Gentleman 8 wrote:i don't think scum go out of their way to get a partnership with one particular town player, to the exclusion of all others though? that's not how people operate, in my opinion
so present to me the scenario in which lady 6 is town and gentleman 7 pursues lady 6 like he did and how that makes sense (disregarding my "intense love of seals" theory please)
As Lady 6 said, I am considering the possibility that it was a S/S move, but I don't think itonlycomes as a S/S move.-

I thought it was pretty surprising I had written itIn post 2440, Gentleman 1 wrote:okay I saw the answer and it's not a "scumslip" but it's hella weird. Seems a bit like a reach.
I found another error when I said G5.boromir's proposal is somewhat scumread, I meant somewhat townread, but no one corrected that because both are true (I think there's some people on both)The enemy's low! Get 'em Starmie!-

L7.blue said she would deliberately allow G9 to continue to misunderstand the setup so that he is looks townier. In post 2441, Gentleman 3 wrote:The only situation I can imagine in which Gentleman 9 isn't corrected on his assumption in the scum PT is if the third partner is also a chronic low-poster like Gentleman 7 was, and there has been basically no strategy discussion between them. I have employed similar tactics in previous games. Well I wanted to but it was a 3p scumteam and my other partner explained something and I wished I could delete teammate's posts in the scum PT.
I don't think all players have that kind of style to them. The enemy's low! Get 'em Starmie!-

Admittedly that hadn't occurred to me, but I'd say it's the exception rather than the rule.In post 2445, Lady 3 wrote:

This doesn't hold water for me because it could easily just be scum who didn't read the setup and his teammates were too lazy to correct him or just missed his mistakeIn post 2413, Lady 6 wrote:
I guess it mostly hinges on whether you believe G9 would've been corrected on his misunderstanding of the setup by his teammates. Or if he would've read the setup closer as scum.In post 2409, Lady 4 wrote:

For me, I think it probably does a lot more than other people might because it helps me understand where he's coming from a lot better.
