nhat's final posts made me the object of suspicion, which is why I decided to go ahead and claim first thing.

I still had my doubts as to whether you really wanted maxwellhouse alive and I know you've buddied up to Dark wingstalker a bit, which is why I went after you.

I think the roleblocker is town and blocked me by mistake trying to block the Mafia, but I'm not 100% sure. What you said does make sense if the roleblocker is scum, though.

Reason being, I'm either a Naive cop OR StrangeCoug and/or Wumbo are scum (I'm leaning towards SC based on D1). I investigated Geraintm N1, Cass N2, and Litral N3. I'm not insane as I doubt all three of those people are scum.

Reason for claiming: StrangeCoug roleclaimed and is scum or I'm naive. If I died, tonight no one would know my results. Also only 2 people left ALIVE I have no results on so I didn't want to gamble and die. If I'm naive, then scum will not kill me because they are afraid of my results. So I see no HARM it could do for me to claim.

Reason investigating:

Geraintm: "Hacked" a post, didn't get too much read off him D1
Cass: Was one of two people who wanted Max dead over DWS
Litral: Didn't have too much of a read one way or the other

I do not understand Battousai's logic for SC being scum. Is the only reason really that you didn't investigate him? Because that doesn't add up. Besides, with such a load of cops, the scum might well have stuff like a roleblocker and/or a godfather. So don't take any investigation results for granted! When I have more time, I'll look at all the claims in detail.

Ok, the claims up till now:

Chenhsi: cop, lynched day 1. Could have been any sanity.
Max: cop, got a guilty on the Godfather. So, paranoid or insane? Killed night 2.
Nhat: forensic investigator. Saw Godot-scum target imaginality. Killed night three.
Battousai: claims cop, innocent on Cass, geraintm & Litral. At least one of these is true (five mafia seems excessive ), so he isn't insane. Could be naive though.
Strangercoug: claims tracker. Tracked Max to DWS night 1. Got roleblocked night two. Tracked Litral night three (he went nowhere).

- I think a fourth cop should claim now
- I think a roleblocker should claim now

If these two exist, we could make some confirmed townies, possibly even find a scum. I am neither of these roles.

I find even three cops hard to believe, Cass. If there are four cops, then there

be one sane, one insane, one paranoid and one naïve. If there are three cops, then I don't think we have both a sane and an insane cop.

I do believe the roleblocker should claim if he's town, as I believe. If there is a mass claim and the roleblocker doesn't claim such, then I'm pretty sure whoever the roleblocker is is scum.

Three cops in a mini is very hard for me to believe, and if there really are three cops, then chances are there is a dead paranoid cop as I can't see both a sane and an insane cop in the same game.

I'm more confident in my vote, by rethinking what StrangerCoug has claimed. SC said he tracked Max. Why would you do that? If Max was scum, then SC would have gotten the result that Max left his house. If Max was cop, the

I find it a bit suspicious that he tracked a claimed cop, and just happened to be roleblocked when tracking someone who had not claimed (if Litral was cop/doc, then SC would have been outted).

Battousai, I believe trackers also receive the name of who they visited, so if max visited a dead guy that would look pretty bad for him. Although admittedly he could just claim he investigated imaginality, which makes the investigation only limited in usefulness...

I read Battousai's posts and his defense of max convinces me fairly well that he is a third cop.

But what about this, in Day 2?

maxwellhouse, I have a question: If you investigated Dark wingstalker and he came back as guilty, then why are you worrying about sanity rather than voting him?

Indeed, tracking a claimed cop is very useful. It comfirms (or doesn't!) whoever the cop claims to have looked at, and might catch a scum in the act: if the scum doesn't know about the tracker, he'll probably betray himself.

Note that the way and the time SC claimed is no proof of his claim, so this could just be a theoretical discussion.

I really don't want to draw conclusions about who's lying about what before geraint has had a chance to claim. His claim could potentially change everything.
