Specifically, my townread has nothing to do with neighborhoods.

We have an in-thread masonry right here in the thread, beginning on Day 0. There's no secrecy about why I'm townreading them. If you can read isos you can see it build, brick by brick.

I'm not questioning your towniness. I'm laughing because I knew I made a prophetic post early early day 0.

Mostly I'm observing reactions to posts without my name on them, and remembering reactions to my posts before I was a somewhat known quantity at ms. It's not at all a case of being scumread by default.

I've established what I am in this game well enough that I feel perfectly comfortable taking stands defending my townreads. That you, personally don't townread me is immaterial at this point. I'm speaking to the future.

Do you ever feel like you're reading two steps into a game and then realize that you might be graduating into reading 3 steps into a game but then you realize that the scum team might have some insane coordinated overarching world dominion strategy because 3 players start to speak in tongues but what they're implying is out of order with who should know what so it sounds like they're all ust in a scum chat together but there's no point to how complicated all of that is because it doesn't place them ahead much if at all?

Not really, my experiences of being snowed by scum are different. They involve an almost walking paralysis. A step by step process of subverting my reads and giving me the room to convince myself that I'm imagining shit. It's kind of pleasant, actually being in a anon game. Some of the channels of info that are shut down are the very channels that mislead me. It's easier to work with models, in some ways.

If that post gave you strong townpings, I really don't know what to say. If I've said one thing in this game that I could say without hesitation as either alignment, it would be that. It's a true statement. but not one I'd struggle to make as scum.

Sometimes I use town or scum non-traditionally. I might call someone scum for making an appeal to fear or call them town when they're about to flip scum because I think it's a little surreal.
