The fact that this game is this simple is saddening...we need to get back to scumhunting I think! We should be Bowser-hunting on the off-chance that FL and K7 are lying!

The problem is, if those two are lying, one of them is bowser. Well, I'm reasonably sure about that. To take a chance of chilling like you are confirmed, you don't want it all to fall apart if some random lynch leads to Bowser.

You make a strong point...hmm...so if they're lying, we're doomed.

So we have to make a call today. Are they lying? If so, we should lynch one, correct? Or are we willing to trust the game to them? I actually kinda agree with the reasoning that given the high chance we'd fail to lynch Bowser ANYWAY, coming out with these roles was not the best move, because there will be people willing to lynch to be safe. It's quite a quandry :S.

Well, I for one would rather lynch scum. And I also think if anyone is Bowser in this affair it'd be K7 and too late. But, now we reach the wonderful World of WIFOM (a.k.a WoWIFOM...it's a new expansion I hear )

Because we didn't really decide that items aren't indicators of alignment. I think (and I goborage's poison mushroom is both useful as a pro-town or pro-scum item, whereas gimbo's is useful pro-town and rather imbalanced pro-scum.

So gimbo/gurgi is more likely to be town, and I don't think we can make a read on goborage's alignment based on that one way or another.

I don't buy ashmites claim. How is a toad the protector of the princess?

No, I mean: IIRC Farside as good as claimed Toad, if so, she should recognize things from my claim, as should any toad.

My character Toad doesn't protect the princess so that makes no sense. I'm saying in the video games I've played (which isn't many) the toads were not the protectors. Usually she is just in the castle and gets kidnapped.

We have 3 claimed toads(as far as I've read, and the last couple of pages - is this correct?). Two of them with conflicting claims, making it ash&cream vs farside.

I see two possibilities.

1)Mod gave different toads different role PMs.
2)Farside is pretending to be toad - when farside first 'claimed', all farside did was agree with cream; without giving any other reasons besides

I think a few people reconize the same thing I did with Cream's claim and since I don't want scum to know what it is I'm just going to say part of Cream's claim is what I expect some vanilla people recongize.

This implies that Farside knows the same things as Cream, which begs the question of why farside doesn't buy ashmite's claim since Cream does.

So, I'm thinking either scum have vanilla safe claims(doesn't fit since farside doesn't agree with cream&ashmite), or farside agreed with cream then in order to look vanilla.

Other reasons why I'm voting farside:

1) I started with one coin - too little to do anything on my own. The only way my coin(and I'm assuming others' coins) will be of any use - is by coin pooling - TSPN's plan; which we're actually following now.

I'm bothered by how hard farside fought it. Pooling is the only way the town could have utilized their coins.

2) How easily farside was willing to give up her mushroom to a player who was kind of a power role. It looked good enough early game, but now that we know that there are

poisoned mushrooms...

The problem with your comments ting is that Cream stated something that I found similiar where ash is saying he is helping Peach as a toad which I don't see in video games, but I could be wrong as I played old school Mario.
