mith sez Flayming Man; plus, I have to make it up to PJ somehow for missing him last weekend *bite*, and it was his idea. :D

Thesp, you guys put any more thoughts into Beach Bash? If I take June, will you take August 2009?
I'm going to try to make both if I can - we'll see how it goes.

Likewise, let me know if anyone has any special game requests. You can find my collection here. I should have a good bit of room for storing games. My odds are somewhere hovering around 60% of attending, pending various things.

Mr. Flay wrote:Ye gods Thesp - 436 games?!? The ones that jump out to me are Railroad Tycoon, Khet in any form, The Great Dalmuti (or Tichu), Scotland Yard and Hoity Toity. If you want to bring classic Stratego too that might be good, all we have is the Transformers edition. Cthulhu Rising and the Arkham Horror set might be good too... that's just the stuff you've rated 8 or higher, though. ;)
Hrm, I think the first link included all games I've ever rated as well, which is more than I own - link is now fixed (our collection is closer to 250). I can get Hoity Toity (and the others you've mentioned), though, it's certainly perfect for the crowd, and I can probably borrow most games anyone would be interested in from friends around here who have larger collections than we do!

It's looking more and more likely that we'll make this! :)

I sure hope others who are on the fence get an opportunity to make the effort to come to this - it should be a blast. We'll have a ton of boardgames and mafia to go around. If you've never been to a meetup before, give it a try - it's an event you'll remember for a long time!

kristocker and I are definitely in. You might want to PM those who hadn't posted in this thread in a while, just to make sure they remember and are coming, too. :D

And mith, I'd be interested in trying both Rosenkonig and Acquire, if you've got the space for them. (I feel like I've missed out on something never having played Acquire - I don't know if I'll like it since I have some aversion to stock games, but I want to try it.)

Do this - I have several friends around here with a wealth of games, and many are happy to let me borrow them as requested.

Don't be swayed by this foul temptor's words! Agricola is chock full of awesome! It is so chock full of awesome that no more awesome could be chocked in it! (Besides, you need the room for all the pieces.)

Actually, I like Le Havre better than Agricola, but both are great. We'll bring both.

I think Kristen and I will be forgoing the baseball game. (Royals and White Sox just doesn't interest us nearly as much as the rest of you all do.)

Absolutely!

Yes, and I'll be happy to bring it.

I'll get a list going in the next few days as to what games are requested, what will be there, and who's bringing what.

I'm also going to try to get in a batch of games before the meet, particularly to obtain Race for the Galaxy: Rebel vs. Imperium, Dominion: Intrigue, Time's Up: Title Recall, Pandemic: On the Brink, and any other game I can think of that has a colon in it, apparently.

Does anyone have Loopin' Louie?

Will do. Hey MeMe, can you bring Get Bit!?

Also, MoS, I'll be happy to bring Puerto Rico, and I can borrow Arkham Horror (and an expansion or two) to bring, no problem.

WOOHOO! :D

Now we can get a proper 5-player game of RftG with you, without running out of cards and unfairly robbing you of the explore phase on the last turn. ;)

Mr. Flay wrote:Also, since MoS and sam.samhorn are probably not going to be able to come anymore, is anyone wanting to add these to what they're bringing? I've taken them off the list on the wiki...
* Coloretto
* Cranium Hoopla
* A Game of Thrones
* Intrigue
* Illuminati
* Mu and Mehr
* Munchkin: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly
* Risk: Godstorm
* The Settlers of Catan + Expansions
I'm certain we have plenty, I just didn't know if we'd dropped some duplicates and would miss them now that some people's ability to come has changed.

Thesp, if you've got room, Orbiting would probably like A Game of Thrones, which I see is in your collection. I don't know much about the rest, though Illuminati is good for when you're stupid-tired (or drunk) and we've got several RISKs already.
I'll bring Coloretto, Cranium Hoopla, A Game of Thrones, Mu and Mehr and The Settlers of Catan + Expansions. I think we've got just enough trunk space. We'll surely have more games than time, but options are good, and maybe we'll be able to stay awake the whole time and play them all. ;)

I'm semi-conscious after 4 hours of sleep - some games I've gotten to be a part of include modding a game of mafia where mith was lynched D1 as a mason (!), some Race for the Galaxy, Small World, Ghost Stories, and Battlestar Galactica. We're having an awesome time!

I just drew the first nightkill in a twelve player game after helping lynch some scum. Played some Small World this morning (stupid sorcerors!), and Arkham Horror is on tap next. :cool:

Posting this from on the road on Kristen's Treo - we left 90 minutes ago for the trek home. We had an absolute blast! Flay was a gracious host, and we played a great many games. It was good to meet and see everyone. I do pity Kristen for all the driving she's going to have to do, as I'm going to need to catch up on a lot of sleep. :)
