This is correct just change scum bell to town bell who wants to become that annoying town that just won’t be eliminated. I still fondly remember the salt MWB had when I said I was obvious town while being actually town while not being mechanically cleared. Sometimes being confident in your own towniness is its own reward.

You can point in contrast to morph’s mistake and correction by muffin on joyed where he proactively stopped a possible mistake. The difference there is simply that if he didn’t say it, someone else would. So it’s a town cred race.
