wow
i was just about to post about why i thought Tar might be a player this game and then vote for him
good thing the thread was locked right as i posted
this is what originally piqued my interest..
Tarhalindur wrote:Tarhalindur has received a Rules Infraction for post 12.
due to this and the whole forbiddan getting killed thing: i think it is likely that Tar is actually playing this game (as opposed to being a role like in the last game)
anyways,
vote MafiaSSK
due to the fact that he tends to be anti-town regardless of alignment

Preview Edit: i had to confirm in the game

woah i just had a good idea
we don't really know too much yet about Tar as a potential player, but how about this:

instead of a lynch, we get the scummiest person to vote for Tar. if nothing happens, then we proceed with the lynch. if the person is daykilled, then we can possibly continue the day?
what do you guys think about that?

QFT. based on the last game, he wouldn't have made a separate post.

@Tar: i didn't think it would work out, but might as well try right?

for great glory. I find it unlikely Tar is a player in the game, however, I do find it likely that he might be biased.
what do you mean by biased? as in he knows all of the roles of the players?
i can't find the link ATM but there was a Dragon Phoenix game in which the mod was a SK that killed based on who made the 13th post of each day. this is Mind Screw, so i do find it likely that the Mod is a player.

first of all, this is (was?) the random voting stage, so when people make their first vote, they usually don't have an incredible amount of reasoning

second, 2 votes =/= a bandwagon

I said "Bandwagoneering." I don't think it's a real word, so I'll define it:

"To add one's vote to another person's for the purpose of trying to start a bandwagon."
vote still stands. you said bandwagons on day 1 are beneficial. yet you attack Cyberbob for trying to start one.

ok, first off, i can see your reason now for voting Cyberbob. IMO you just didn't make it clear enough before, but that's just from my perspective. however, i still dislike this post for a couple of reasons. i thought it was obvious that i was talking about all types of Day 1 bandwagons, whether they be random or not. i only found out you were talking about non-random ones in this post, yet you accuse me of strawmanning. i especially don't like this next sentence:
I'll give you a chance to respond or retract your stance before I FoS you.
i can't put my finger on why yet, but it seems scummy to me

Wall-E: you can vote for anyone and it will show up in the VC. i don't think that's significant to the game. the only anomaly i see is that the number of Wall-E's votes are switched with his number of FoS's.

i'm fine with it. a benefit is that if there is any type of role cop like last game they can catch a fakeclaiming scum. however, like in last game, there could be certain roles that investigate as rolenames different from their own. but this all depends of the existence of said role cop

sorry for not posting..
first of all, i would like to say that this wagon on DoS is crap, and DGB is being ridiculous. to be honest, when DGB first told us to post the sentence, i was in no way thinking about a lie detector either. i just figured she was being DGB so i decided to go along with it. i can 100% understand DoS not wanting to go along with it, and when DGB claimed he posted the sentence right afterwards. in summary, there is basically no case. also, the fact that Jebus, malthusis, Wall-E, and DGB are on his wagon helps the case against him being scum, because IMO they are probably some of the scummiest so far.

also, for origin claim i'm from Alice in Wonderland

ok i admit i had been lurking, but mainly due to RL stuff. also, the people i had been accusing are the ones i've been accusing the whole game (with the exception of maybe DGB). what do you mean by took advantage of Jebus' bad plan? of course i attacked Jebus because it was incredibly scummy. just because i attack someone who is repeatedly scummy doesn't mean i'm taking advantage of them. and yes, i do want Jebus lynched because i believe him to be scum
Wall-E wrote:You just went up a click on my scumometer.

Why would you disbelieve a roleclaim automatically on day 1? Go along with the claim until DGB paints herself into a corner. This is, and always has been, my policy on a town power-role claim this early in the game.
i never said i disbelieved her roleclaim. but even if DGB is telling the truth, how could she 100% know who scum is without even receiving her result yet?? say a cop claims on Day 1, and he thinks so-and-so is scum. that doesn't mean that the person is automatically scum.
