Is Hectic’s RR defense making sense to anyone?

Also both Sneasel and Hectic trusted Uncrowned. I think it’s kind of weird for scum!Sneasel to try to compete for the same tf. Just like with Jake, how does it help Hectic for buddy Sneasel to possibly poach Uncrowned from him?

Yeah, I think it’s probably RR or I’m reading someone wrong.

Basically, it makes no sense for buddy Jake to shade the player his buddy wanted to tf with.
It also makes even less sense for buddy Sneasel to be competing with Hectic for Uncrowned.

Pooky is obvtown now.

My only issue is that would Hectic be this content to leave with inactive buddy RR. or was he that confident that RR would get paired before Jake/Pooky?

I might have some paranoia on Akarin for wanting the RR/Jake pairing first except that she tf’d me at the same time Hectic was trying to poach Uncrowned, so for the same reasons as Sneasel and Jake, Akarin is also clear. Fidget is purer than pure.

Everything points to RR and Hectic defended them way too passionately, so yeah. I think RR is his buddy. If there is a world where Fidget is ever scum here, I’m fine with losing to that but seriously doubt it.

Sneasel/Akarin/Jake are all clear for trying in one way or the other to interfere with Hectic tfing Uncrowned.

Actually, that could possibly be interpreted as her pushing Uncrowned to accept Hectic, so maybe I shouldn’t be so quick to clear Jake.

After reconsideration, this question implies that the town is doing an awful job.

So I just asked Eqi what would happen if one scum trusted the other and they said that it would show up on the trust count.

Actually Jake was re-evaluating Uncrowned so Idk but is it really that easy that it’s just RR? But the way Hectic so passionately defended him makes me think it is. He was just too passionate in his defence of a completely null slot for RR not to be a buddy.

Scum only defends a townie that passionately when it’s in their wincon to do so and then he makes that defence look even more sus by putting RR as “nulltown”.

My only hesitation with Pooky is that Pooky never proposed to Hectic. The interactions between Pooky and Hectic in those early parts of the day make me very nervous of theater.

My only hesitation on Sneasel is something I just realized is stupid. Want to reread, but I'm feeling more comfortable there all of a sudden.

It bothers me that at least one of Rainbow/Jake is basically gamethrowing and making this much tougher for us.

I would say that Hectic probably did not expect to leave so early, so do factor that in when you read through his stuff. He could not have known he'd be leaving first. It is likely he had to worry about possibly getting stuck in the bottom four.

Would he defend his partner as a result? Eh. He was always going to be the scum that got paired off first, so not really.

Don't think Hectic meant to leave so quick, and even then, I'm not really sure what Hectic could do to save Rainbow, exactly. He was always going to leave before Rainbow does, that much was inevitable.
