think Jake's little tantrum about being universally scumread looks sincere. it's a pretty ridiculous strat for solo scum to take rather than just, you know, doing the things we're asking Jake to do in an effort to look like town.

this is interesting, I'm not really sure.

tonally it had some tells which were more pure than rr's reaction just now. jake "I guess I'm stuck until endgame, welp, good luck town I guess I'll try and find the scum later if it's needed" is pretty poorly considered but it's more nuanced & feels closer to a real thought than a "Gloria is confirmed town but is infuriating for scumreading me with a fair bit of reasoning and I don't have the energy to fight her right now" when to town Gloria should be very far from the problem

I appreciate this comparison didn't exist when I originally called Jake towny, I'll grant that it's probably not a clearing toneread on its own

They first can’t decide who is scum between Jake and Pooky. Then they decide it’s Pooky. When I say fine with me, suddenly Jake is now also scum and RR has given no reasons for either of those reads and responds with a straight up discredit of my reads but completely ignores Fidget’s case on him.

The fact that neither Jake or Pooky seem to be particularly concerned about not getting paired where as RR is practically freaking out, I think speaks volumes.

This is textbook caught scum reaction to discredit and wtf does this I’m not approaching their slot in “good faith” nonsense even mean? Are they actually trying to shade me after I’ve had ample opportunity to accept your tf and exit the game?

Jake by contrast never tried to discredit me, just saw some flaws in my reasoning. It’s telling that RR isn’t doing that because there obviously isn’t there. When they went back to not wanting Jake paired either, it was beyond obvious.

Pooky was extremely charismatic and happy in the second half of Death Curse? Does he even sound remotely here like scum who is upset or defated to not escape? Neither does Jake. You are the only one who sounds extremely upset about that.

I know Pooky, his reaction is highly town indicative. He only cares about being wrongly sr if he thinks it will cause town to lose. He obviously tr Jake and Sneasel now and is fine with remaining unpaired. RR completely ignoring that is very telling. This whole Pooky is scum because charisma is so NAI, because he was anything but charismatic in Hideyoshi. But hey, he’s fine being unpaired anyway so it doesn’t matter anyway. Jake has also been chill with being unpaired. Even Shelley was but RR has never once offered that.

If it was totally up to me, I’d trust Pooky over Jake but I’ve given up on convincing anyone of that. It really doesn’t matter anyway because I think RR is extremely obvious scum because it makes absolutely no sense for a slot who has hardly done a damn thing all game to be that upset about not escaping, because it’s beyond clear that their insistence on BOTH Pooky/Jake being unpaired only makes sense if they’re scum.

Plus Hectic’s damning associatives, plus Fidget RR metacase, plus their ridiculous shade on me and discredit on Fidget with absolutely no logical reasoning behind it. I really don’t see how it’s not them.

Hell, I’d be willing to ship everyone else if that was the only way to guarantee they never get trusted.
