first of all, i would like to say that this wagon on DoS is crap, and DGB is being ridiculous. to be honest, when DGB first told us to post the sentence, i was in no way thinking about a lie detector either. i just figured she was being DGB so i decided to go along with it. i can 100% understand DoS not wanting to go along with it, and when DGB claimed he posted the sentence right afterwards. in summary, there is basically no case. also, the fact that Jebus, malthusis, Wall-E, and DGB are on his wagon helps the case against him being scum, because IMO they are probably some of the scummiest so far.

DGB: Your last point is what makes me question you. You've played long enough also, to know not to out your power so easily. Hell, you may not even get to use your ability due to roleblock/nk. But you are right about DoS, he should have known what you were, I know I did when you posted it (I was recently in a game with a lie detector). My only guess was that he didn't want to be seen as easily manipulated if he's town.

I think the best reason not to do something someone asks you to do in mafia is precisely because someone's asking you to do it.

That having been said, I saw (and still see) absolutely no harm in posting a sentance. But that's me. I tend to jump into things head-first.

DoS is clearly a more suspicious person (in this game, anyway) or perhaps just more careful. I think it's good to have a mix of personalities in a mafia game.

Ok. I was trying to unbalance Jebus' wagon. I request that people post more thoughts on who's evil.

Here's my CURRENT list, which changes almost everytime someone posts, so it's mostly fluffy:

dahill1: He pops in after lurking for a while and accuses four people with no backup points. He also opportunistically took advantage of Jebus' bad plan to lynch DGB and added momentum to the bandwagon against him.

Battousai: I think she's town. She made a point that I was being opportunistic with my denouncement of the hammer, but in fairness I didn't know it was a (supposed) hammer. I was typing on a Wii and couldn't read any numbers on the tiny tv screen, so I saw five names and thought "Oh, L-1 and I can't even barely play right now." I decided to try to stop further such shenanighans with my post. Battousai's post was a protown sentiment.

Jebus: He seems like he's enthusiastic and a bit quick on the trigger, but overall seems town with the exception of the post where he claimed to know someone's flavor with no claim as to why.

Cyberbob: Been a little quiet. Otherwise has good logic. Leaning town.

DragonsofSummer: Despite feelings of OMGUS I agree there's nothing really to pin on DoS aside from being a stubborn player, which is sometimes a very good thing. Leaning more town, for reasons stated above and here.

DGB: Has claimed, clearly banking on us having a doctor. Why does he think there's a doctor? If he is a lie-detector I think he made a bad decision to roleveal. I'll follow DGB's lead until she proves herself a liar. Recommending the Doctor (if we have one) protects DGB for the rest of the game.

ok i admit i had been lurking, but mainly due to RL stuff. also, the people i had been accusing are the ones i've been accusing the whole game (with the exception of maybe DGB). what do you mean by took advantage of Jebus' bad plan? of course i attacked Jebus because it was incredibly scummy. just because i attack someone who is repeatedly scummy doesn't mean i'm taking advantage of them. and yes, i do want Jebus lynched because i believe him to be scum

i never said i disbelieved her roleclaim. but even if DGB is telling the truth, how could she 100% know who scum is without even receiving her result yet?? say a cop claims on Day 1, and he thinks so-and-so is scum. that doesn't mean that the person is automatically scum.

To answer the bolded question: I mean that Jebus, at the time, claims to have made the assumption that DGB had already tested all the sentences and knew exactly who the scum were. Jebus was proposing that we then lynch DGB after he posted said information to prove DGB's information true. It was a silly plan, but equally silly a thing for scum to suggest, so your vote was opportunistic.
