I’m in this weird state where I both want to trust deacon but purge Cabd with fire. I don’t discount he might look just like Xeno, but with the gamestate as it is, with this core, we’re just so off base there HAS to be scum in the bloc. And I’m trying to work with deacon as they still are my strongest townread, and they’ve asked me to pump the brakes on it.

But no. Especially given the information on how his role works, I would very easily believe it’s a scum role. He chose to communicate with imperium and deacon, yes, but as I’ve said already I still firmly believe that Cabd would LOVE the opportunity to snow them and the continued opportunity to snow them via Dunn’s neighborhood. Wrt Dunn I’ve hated his pushes on bell and me but feel like he’s in an echo chamber so it’s understandable. I don’t think he’s scum for the pushes but they just don’t feel kosher?

I know deacon said bell was fanning my paranoia regarding the interaction but I don’t think scum bell would KNOW to fan my paranoia without being coached on that regarding them? And I still struggle to see scum in his day one play. You think sb9 and annie are town then? We already have 2 people from that timeline. I can agree with wanting both flips today to be from same starting timeline. but if anything it'd be 3-5% more effective for them to ts pooky back so we could flip a50 in inverted and pooky here since our starting timeline has one fewer slot alive at this point. Mathematically double flipping our starting timeline would be best odds for tomorrow.

Pooky -- seems to be building entire iso around firebringer, almost no reflection on reads, seems night and day from his townplay, the boon push was literally the towniest thing about this slot and that's really saying something
A50 -- As described above, his iso is unengaged and now half filled with austin powers memes so probably scum
Firebringer -- seems like obvious scum to me, I don't really get why anyone is townreading this slot, he has at no point cared about any of his pushes. I kinda liked at one point his thought process about skitter, but at this point given the timing of when he pushed skitter (early d1 and then d3 when numbers were screwy) I'd just as easily see fire/skitter being s/s -- playing very politically, I have more feelings here but don't want to go into more detail, the retracted cop claim is NAI but his solving is scummy

This was short hand for a counter argument that was very ego-centric.
The first thing I suspected when I saw Peta just croak that fast was that

is easily explained by the negative interactions with LLD and others, plus the general environment in that thread. There's a clear ethical component to toning down rhetoric and his own temper which weakens his edge which makes it easier to eliminate him. But he'd do it anyway given social context.
