The very next post was the first votecount. Therefore Tarhalindur chose his target by die roll. We all assume it's for the vote.
dahil1 came up with the brilliant idea I saw the first time I read this thread. In retrospect, it didn't work, but it was a good idea at the time, and worthy of praise.
I have to reset my silly D1 trap. Those of you who know me know I love game theory, so I had to try the idea to see what would come of it. Cyberbob reacted unremarkably.
Natirasha /confirms and then immediately retracts the confirmation. I dismissed it as a simple reading comprehension mistake (lord knows it's easy to mistake "in thread" for "not in thread", we've all left letters and words off of things before, and though I've yet to do so with my role PM, I can understand it happening), one I can see myself doing,
BUT
...in retrospect it looks like he might actually have been SUPPOSED to confirm in the thread and retracted to make it appear he hadn't. Only one other player did this: Battousai.
I spring my silly little trap when Cyberbob jumps in, and we discuss it. I decided later it would have been better to see if a third or even a fourth joined it, but since it WAS day 1 I didn't really expect a bandwagon to start up, and decided to take my small attack opportunity. Cyberbob again handled the situation evenly.
I make the amazing prediction that an FoS may count as a vote in this game. I turn out to be right (thanks for noticing).
We discuss the secret voter and decide to out him/her. Malthusis claims doublevoter. After this the town kinda muddles about with the rules, trying to probe the environs, as it were.
I'm accused by DragonsofSummer, whom DGB recently confirmed (and then Nat confirmed HER), not for the first time, but for the last time by her, of not reading the thread. (HI DOS)
Jebus does some really weird origin guessing. Temporal Artistry?
malthusis claims that the mafia will claim his origin and he'll have to counter-claim, indicating strongly that malthusis is a valuable power-role.
Nat demands a claim from malthusis.
Malthusis is probably close to caving when Nat does the scummiest thing she can. She refuses to post a lie-detectable sentence, then roleclaims third-party non-sk who's ambivalent toward the town's victory condition.
I stick to Malthusis throughout, never getting an answer.
DragonsofSummer wrote:Scumbaggos? I hardly think the fact that I am unwilling to post your sentence word for word proves anything, even more, I think it proves that the people willing to post it look more like desperate scum than anyone else does, and on top of that
vote DGB
with the amount of effort you have put into a certain other game I am in with you I know you are a better player than the amount of effort you have put into this game. And since you are playing so radically differently in the two I lean towards you being scum in this game for reasons that should be obvious to you (the reasons pertaining to why you are town in the other game).
DoS mentions another game and isn't modkilled. I'm just bitter about High School mafia.
I make the comment that Natirasha's weirdness can be explained if she has some kind of third-party win condition.
Natirasha claims Survivor after DoS mentions it.
DGB FREAKING CLAIMS, ruining her role forever and then posts the following:

Today we lynch DragonsofSummer - it's not humanly possible to be scummier, but it's nice that he's still trying.
Hopefully we have a vig that can take care of Natirasha or Jebus tonight. Whichever of the two that survives, lynch tomorrow.
I'm almost surely going to be nightkilled so this is going to be a short game for me. It'll all be in your hands after that.
Analysis to be continued after these messages.
