Why do you believe the approach that Dunnstral took to Unwnd is scummy?

My personality read on dunnstral is that he doesn't really care if someone scumreads him unless their push is scummy. Which, yes, he does believe unwnd's push is scummy but 504 felt like trying to convince unwnd was town and that felt out-of-character to me.

Given the recency of this game, wouldn't it be likely for Dunnstral to be more sensitive towards unwnd pushing him and care more?

I do agree that his posting this game and that game does not quite feel the same in that he's more sensitive but given the ending wouldn't you expect him to make adjustments or fight back more?

Yes, but 504 doesn't feel like fighting back, it's a post I would make if I townread someone and wanted them to townread me too

The problem is that you are assuming I have unwnd hydra at 100% scum and that is not true, and not how I'd play on day 1. You're also ignoring 499 which holds some pretty key context in why I softened my approach in 504

He doesn't spell out exactly what he means, but he acts like it's obvious. It makes it seem like he really thinks what he's trying to say is obvious and that any townie in his position would act similarly, even if it's not necessarily true. It would be an odd thing to fake as scum

If isis or dunn is scum they're like Frank in catch me if you can where he pretends to be a substitute teacher when he's a student. I know very little about the subject that's being taught but they said "Abagnale not Abagnaly not Abagnaily" convincingly enough that I'm like "yeah seems legit"

morningtweet said she found this setup boring in hindsight and i think someone's mind is more likely to change when rolling wolf bc trying to figure out the best contraption for town is always more fun when you're also town

also the way she proposes herself to go collect logs to build the guillotine and then talks about how there's no reason to propose herself and it just makes her look like a wolfy lumberjack which means she should just go anyway feels contrived and from a lurker in the night

i’m more confident about srckz currently than dunnstral but this feels good. the former (and this is based on unwnd) has a certain “clarity” to how he presents and posts when he’s town that i think he has some issues faking as scum and falls back on emotional appeals to compensate on when he’s interacting with someone who is pressuring him. in the last game i called him out on it and it was genuine, there was a level of frustration that he expressed repeatedly that looked like him trying to claw his way into a victory rather than being able to talk himself into it naturally. this is d1 sure but it feels like night and day to me knowing that he was scum all game and had to act like that versus here where he’s just Vibing.

as for dunn, i thought back a bit to titus v nancy drew where he was scum and don’t feel many similarities. i think it was hectic who i talked about his meta with after that game? about how town!dunn has an aura of prickliness/aloofness to him when he’s town. it’s not outward irritation but i think he tries to be slightly more personable as scum (and in that game im p sure he actively reached out and tried to insert him into a place where he could solve with me which fits that.) and in 504 i get more of the like... exasperation is what i felt reading it rather than him caring about what someone thought about him. in general i haven’t gotten that feeling especially since his opening this game came with him just slapping down his thoughts about the mechanics like “yup okay here’s what i’m thinking”.

i don’t feel good about morning tweet so far reading over her posts, they read forced to me. i wasn’t sure if offering to set the guillotine was towny because it does eat up a night action but i think that scum!mt might come into this game knowing that she needs to offset how people here would read her and doing something like intrinsically weakens her as a threat. it feels kinda hollow to suggest because the assumption would be inevitably we hold accountable someone to do the guillo who is scummy rather than a volunteer and she could get off scot free having made the effort like “oh guys haha sure okay someone else can do it” if she can scrape by enough towniness.
