rereading ydrasse's iso, it looks like their play is to evaluate how others are viewing the game first - > its like they are just not doing Much at first and strictly only probing to see what others think of the game.
i think this implies infinity town from ydrasse scum, as well as Isis town. anya too to a lesser extent.


and now its evolved to controlling that gamestate and keeping that together. where it feels more like manipulation rather than solving.

u cant just make it super obvious - also if they're planning on not saccing, it makes sense to shove a scummier looking slot in there

Ydrasse is not the captain when she plays scum. She does her job very well and takes orders. I don't think she really enjoys the notoriety and would probably be avoiding the thread desperately as somehow the whole game wants her to lead. It's not the same attention as Fortress.

I would think never ever yes. She was an excitable wallflower up until Fortress where she finally bloomed

Out of curiosity if you started to townread someone in the dungeon group what would you do in Ydrasse's place? Switch them with a guillotiner or try to switch them with a player in the outside five?

Somehow i doubt it'd go over well at all if you tried to do the latter (with 2 hours left on the clock anyway).

i can get the rationale in a vacuum but it doesn't make sense to me in context because literally all 4 of the people in the group townread/townlean me so it's just like... okay you're my partner cool, why do i draw attention to it like this at eod when i know it's literally scummiest, instead of assuming the two other townpeople in the dungeon are going to also go to the dungeon so they don't die/get scrutinized heavily the next day? doing something that only calls attention to my position like that is the exact opposite of what i should be doing there

Which is why this confounds me

I dont see a more reasonable solution -- save for maybe, doing nothing about it which I guess is also a valid option but generally i think saving your townreads is more town motivated

And yes granted im pocketed by Ydrasse but it is prolly worth mentioning several ppl are including i know srckz who is also in the dungeon

1) Ydra/Isis/Infinity are masterclassing and I'm not in on it
2) The nulls I have contain the scum who are just hoping town folds
3) Johnny is scum and I take his hat

like idk @koba, take this as you will, i appreciate that you think i am a very good scum player and ive started believing it myself but i have just had two of the most grueling/attention-needing scum games back to back and i do not believe i could physically muster the energy to keep up in another one following, and i wouldnt do something that makes me have to answer more and more things about why im doing it if i was because i would be too drained
