i tried to do the math on trying to get both the watcher and the cop and it doesn't really work out. similar for like trying to get the cop and still being strong enough to go get the nightless later

blocking like 2-3 NKs is probably better than a 1shot cop so i think this strategy is probably the best strategy from here

when you try to follow the math you account for the possibility someone is underlevelled and that someone abandons the quest because they are scum in the same way. It just only happens if that person is scum

Even if Chromium and Isis are scum together exactly, Ydrasse, Emily, unwndcake and infinity get to 9 exactsies.

Then there would be no more NKs.

So basically we can give the scum one more NK, then play nightless from the rest of this game, and still get to work with the info about how night 1 went.

7 lv2 players quest, 2 of them are mafia and don't actually go 5 times 2 is ten no nights.

if i'm not miscounting, this works even better.

You get the cop, but you never catch a breather where it is safe to use the cop.
However if the mafia betray the quest n3, n4 Ultimate will become impossible, but you will still have the cop, so you get to do the cop instead.

2260 is a corrected version of the previous strategy. Mafia get one more kill for the rest of the game, but town gets no other powers besides what they learned N1

I didn't say it was a tactic or that you did it intentionally.

I felt bad for driving you away from playing the game because you enjoy playing the game and I enjoy playing it with you.

It's not my intention to win by making games unplayable or unpleasant for other people.

then what does this mean?

I dinged him on this and I didn't like how he ghosted the thread afterwards - I think I would've been happier with a more aggressive reaction or something approaching an explanation that made sense for the way he chose to engage. Instead Cakez kind of just noped out of the thread and it makes me feel as if the accusation hit home. It's like he thought he was dragging unwnd down by making a mistake and decided it would be better to just hide and let unwnd work his magic? I think the town version of cake would've been more aggressive in pushing back on my accusation.

the way Dunn and Emily are going all in on this makes it feel like at least one of them saw it in their scum PT or whatever and wants to capitalize on it now
