because i was just wifoming bout emily's check and im actually serial killer - and this a bastard open setup that actually would have the implication of rolling 3rd party every once in a while
"With grandpa in the game the postcount goes up and up and up and up...." - T3 | I have a GTKAS page now. Feel free to ask me questions here!
is the game completely broken or do i need to townread like, 2 players or something
i'm kind of skimmming
"Let us say that you are right and there are two worlds. How much, then, is this 'other world' worth to you? What do you have there that you do not have here? Money? Power? Something worth causing the prince so much pain for?'"
"Well, I..."
"What? Nothing? You would make the prince suffer over... nothing?"
I really do see the reasons for why you think Isis could be scum. Just going off Dunn's ISO alone, there is a lot of touching between the two. Like, their posts never really embrace yet are still interacting. Dunn has about three or four posts where it seems like he should be ready to kill Isis but instead it's just a mild gesture. If I were to scrutinize it further it feels TMI in some aspects. Is that just because Dunn had TMI however? That's something I've given thought of, but just a lot of cheekiness when it comes to how he treated Isis with stuff like 'Isis needs the adrenaline rush that only killing can provide' or the shifty eyes comment specifically to Isis. Dunn didn't really treat anyone besides her like that from memory.
Side note: I don't like using TMI here but there's no other way to explain it.
In post 2253, Dunnstral wrote:A combination of 2240-2242, what srckz pointed out about isis not pushing infinity recently, the talk about a mechanics minded player, and johnny's reads list all have me pondering isis-infinity as a team
This just comes off so heavily despite what little reinforcement this had. If you look at the way Dunnstral interacted with me, it was all appeasement and business. The way he responded to you a bit earlier also had that necessary quality as well. He's much more attentive to his own (fake) reads with apparent townies. I don't..think Isis/Dunn have extensive experience with another that would make them so odd with another?
Yeah they both come around to another in mysterious ways. There's such a specific need to respond to Isis' as well as if Dunn is telling himself that he need to for distancing effect. The only way this could be wrong is if Dunn secretly has some backlog of meta with Isis so he needs to be more careful around her. That isn't really Dunn's style anyway, not even with scum.
Ok, quick ISO'ing of Isis shows that Dunn/Isis are keen on each other and Dunn even invited her. I would like Isis' opinion more on this matter, and actually an explanation for why it took so long for her to apparently come around to Dunn being scum.
Isis ballparks Dunn as town for a while but then has a snap realization that perhaps complacency has been affecting her own reads and switches. I can see that behavior in myself (you could even say I did close to the same) so as I'm sitting here probably just adding onto your confbias
I just don't have the provided context I could get besides Isis defending herself
Emily is probably just town from where I see Dunn's ISO. Not a lot of protection behind his read of Emily which I would expect if Emily is a partner. #2460 from him feels like he added on Emily's posts there to try and incriminate me more than compounded reason from a scummate to bury me. All in all: he kind of just doesn't care. While that could be an option he would take, I don't see that likely given the circumstances we were put in. That's why I've been sitting here believing that scum must've vanity voted their partner because it's just outright foolish to not do so. You need all the leverage you can get going into a war of attrition as the last remaining scum. I can't imagine that Dunn in his Scum PT would just say 'welp I'm being wagoned' and then have any of the hypothetical partners here just shrug and not do..something. Emily was so sure that the Dunn lim was wrong(?) and that just takes a lot of fucking gusto. I also just don't really see any preplanning.
Infinity/Grandpa also probably town. Dunn from observation again feels more no bs with people I (selfishly) townread. A lashing at Infinity in #470 early, and then another strike with #475. He follows it up eventually with a HURT on her with #515, and then seeks to justify his push further. It's just such an alarming contrast to his Isis interactions because it seems like Dunn knows he has to sell this read. I'm purely looking at Dunn separately so I don't know how much Infinity has responded to Dunn at this rate. The walkback on his own thoughts in #1229 though feel more like he's covering his ass in case Infinity goes through and flips town. If Infinity is a scumread and you've spent all this time building up a distancing portfolio I don't really see why you just back off like that. Especially when Me/Infinity were still viable lims and players to push. You want the credit there I think, so my best guess is that Infinity was just another townie that Dunn had obligation to (you know, because he wants to look convincing in his fake arguments/reads lol)
