If it were just a joke that'd be fine. It's not inherently scummy to be a bit silly sometimes. What catches me the most is the fact you recognized your own joke, tried to make another one to couple it, and then once everyone stood unimpressed you proceeded to make more unflavored jokes to cover up the previous attempts. How do you go from Fakeslipping -> Reaffriming it as a joke -> Claiming you are actually jester in a span of 5ish posts? I am operating strongly on not only what T3 did but also what Cabd said about modifiers and this setup deviating from NRG bullshit. I see no reason for Ceph to add Loyal Babysitter given it's the same dredge that's clogged up the queue for months now and has left normal games in a horrid state. It's going to take a lot, and I mean

a lot

for me to switch this read around. The problem is however is that Cabd's observation is nice, but it's not charming. That's yet to happen

It bothers me a little to be townread easily, but I also feel like green is oozing out of my fingers all over the keyboard. But, real life is pretty unsettling right now and that may also be oozing onto the keyboard.

The strange thing is that people who should be decent at reading us and somewhat confident they can read us (specifically you and titus) are casting a lot of shade our way. The townreads are coming from players who dont know me well (and I assume don't know Cabd either) or who are alts.

It's not going to be a great game if you are given the keys so early on for a negative level lim on T3 (despite Dann's efforts). This is another large theme game where I find trust very hard to find. I think my problem stems from the fact that maybe I respect others too much. Petapan, Morph the Cat, Kakeguri, Lukewarm. You know the people I was talking about being deliberate/meaningful. I respect their aptitude but it's not clicking here. Is this the fault with me or is it just multiball/D1 jitters where you can't really produce a coherent list given that you have a lot of fucking distancing going on. I'm not ready to trust given there are two factions that could try to kill me and the last multiball game I ended up with two shots in the chest. Lucky me.

I think if I were to seperate these 4 however in terms of readability over time it'd be something like Lukewarm -> Kakeguri -> Morph -> Peta. Peta takes great pride in his scumgame and likes trying different shit out. Morph probably is flexible as well. I like their content but that doesn't equate to trust. If you're tired of hearing me throw that word around get used to it. I think the terminology Cabd enjoys using is a pass. I would maybe given Peta/Morph a pass beyond D1 but that's likely guaranteed because they are not scum that dies D1. My efforts are more focused on killing low equity wolves/mafia and then seeing how potential bigshots who are aligned with them react to it.

I think right now Whemey is scum. Gut feelings resided by his chauvinistic behavior. Whemey is not exactly the knight who leads a bunch of mercenaries into battle for a noble cause. He's more of a self-proclaimed hero who tries to rout out evil when he sees it. Yet why was he was operating differently and trying to get people to join his cause? And on who exactly? T3? The person who is ubiquitously scumread by almost everyone? That doesn't seem very noble or townie to me. It all feels like poor acting and I fault Morph a bit for saying they liked his energy. Energy is the easiest emotion to fake and I would even say his energy is excessive. We agree to disagree unless my points compel you to think otherwise. It's not a masterstroke of a read but I'm not expecting to get great hits on D1. I think right now Whemey is scum. Gut feelings resided by his chauvinistic behavior. Whemey is not exactly the knight who leads a bunch of mercenaries into battle for a noble cause. He's more of a self-proclaimed hero who tries to rout out evil when he sees it. Yet why was he was operating differently and trying to get people to join his cause? And on who exactly? T3? The person who is ubiquitously scumread by almost everyone? That doesn't seem very noble or townie to me. It all feels like poor acting and I fault Morph a bit for saying they liked his energy. Energy is the easiest emotion to fake and I would even say his energy is excessive. We agree to disagree unless my points compel you to think otherwise. It's not a masterstroke of a read but I'm not expecting to get great hits on D1. Last paragraph has wrong events. Whemey thinks Morph is scum and T3 was town. I wasn't being thorough as I could've been when I wrote this up I just started to flow. I think the scenario still fits however in my mind. I think Whemey jumping to an apparent noble cause and the way he's done it is very scummy. You could rewrite the post as "And on who exactly? I think it's pigeonholed and only used to exacerbate a point. Yet, what is the point exactly? Whemey definitely is more of a player that resonates with his own feelings. I would even say he struggles a bit and even gets tripped over by them. He was earnest in hia posts in Yggdrasril and didn't need to be so showy with his emotions. He just had them regardless of what was going on around him.

I actually just dont agree with a single sentence in this post/dont think of anything here at all when i think of lukewarm. I dont know what to say. I can't find myself agreeing with any of this post.

This wall is very tangential and just me ruminating. I'd like to discuss why I'm scumreading certain people and why I believe their behavior fits what I'm looking for.

If the teams are divvied out because of multiball, I'd really expect them to huddle together and even try to float each other as far as possible. I also expect them to be way more paranoid and participating in some form of scumhunting themselves. It's always cool to be werwolf/mafia in Multiball in that sense, but I don't think either of them want a necessary spotlight. This gives favor to people like Morph who spelled it out plainly: What they're doing now just gets them killed. Werewolf/Mafia don't really want the role of influencer, they just want end up on the top end of lists. I want to walk back to an earlier issue with T3. This resolved itself, but the strange breakneck speed of the wagon and it's makeup (to me) made it seem like T3 didn't have partners who were willing to try and save him. What he did was egregious, no doubt. At worst they hoped people would forget or would be bussing. This didn't happen however, and my own bias tells me that bussing in multiball is less common, especially early. You need all the numbers you can get, especially when there's another faction shooting at you.

I bring it up because the current makeup of the wagons right now:

This might not be the most accurate given Ceph claiming inactivity, but it's surprising a bit to me that Dann's wagon is still there. I can't say I feel great about these votes on Dann especially in light of my own flip of the read. There's a lot of straggling scum in my opinion who don't want to make any drastic moves. In terms of Kaz? I have less to speak on and feel my last time I talked about them still fits. They haven't figured out what they want to do. That could be because they're a lackey for something greater and they haven't been given proper direction. Or they're just a townie who can't keep up. Vecna/Kaz are not really the same because Vecna again

Initially I was townreading you not getting into this game as a good thing. I read your apathy as a surefire tell given your own competitiveness. Then I started to think of it differently. I get it actually. I enjoy your presence regardless of what alignment you have. I've decided for theme games I'm pretty much just going to try and stay at the top because that's how I don't fall behind. This is not a strategy that is healthy in a lot of ways. Effective maybe?
