So it’s rough for me, as I feel I am experiencing the consequences of those extremely unfortunately past emotional reactions I had, despite the fact that I’vd very obviously changed my ways recently, some people don’t want to let me forget.
So, while I see how people in this thread are presenting this in a very complimentary light, people on this site who objectively hate me, mayview it differently. “Passion” and “empathy” evoke different impressions than “emotion” I think and while I get the extremely clever play on words, I’m not confident that either brilliant mafia play or empathy is what will come to most people on here’s minds as a result of this.
In a nutshell, due to my having CPTSD, I have an ongoing love/hate relationship with my feelings/emotions. The passion and empathy I of course love, the vulnerability and excessive sensitivity to perceived shame and rejection, not so much. :/
This is a good point and I didn't think of it but she's absolutely right

Come play Guess that Scummer OR ELSE
I still prefer heaven scent but I wouldn't be like too mad over not that inno scent.
I guess I'm not the most happy that house came up with it kind of in a general way so then it makes me feel like a lot of people could fit under not an inno scent. I agree that scum tend to underestimate Nancy and its a real issue and they get their asses whooped for doing that. But I also feel like it's maybe not specific enough. Idk but I do think it's a title that fits like overall/I like the idea

Recommended for you is too Nancy to me, still disinterested in other noms tbh

"Well, I..."
"What? Nothing? You would make the prince suffer over... nothing?"

*with no better alternative
What you're missing here is that there is a better alternative that she deserves, because it better encapsulates her as a whole, instead of one very specific thing she does.

Not So Inno Scent, which was the previous and seemingly more popular title to give Nancy. If you read the previous pages, I'm sure you would have seen it.
It is a Britney Spears reference that ties in her musical response for every situation and the Heaven Scent interest while also alluding to her being scum read while town, her reactions thereto, and her liking of green role PMs over red ones. It ties all the ideas presented about Nancy into one fine package with a bow on it and I think it's brilliant!

I didn't see your support for it. My bad.
It's alright, mistakes happen. Everyone knows I've made my fair share of 'em.
Also this. Both have much more approval than other titles that have been already given. The whole "best title ever" thing was made to avoid stagnation and it was almost a week ago.
"Perfection is the enemy of progress" again misrepresents the position. The position is that the current noms are still not so good that we should feel comfortable just calling it a day. Honestly, I agree with it. Both Recommended for You and Not So Inno Scent are pretty forgettable imo, and amorphous enough that they'd be applicable to broad swaths of the community. Not So Inno Scent in particular forces a pun that doesn't make sense in its context.
The idea that we should approve or throw our hands up about mediocre and/or impersonal nominations just because even after lots of discussion no one's come up with anything better imo if taken for granted would depreciate titles and makes them a less special experience to give and to get.

Also, when you post something here, people are going to assume that you mean what you are saying and are arguing in good faith. Imo it's pretty rude not to honor that assumption in kind, even to counter something like stagnation.
