However, the moment you hint you can do something is the moment I expect something, meaning I can get a read out of it.

For what reason would scum fakeclaim that role?

Well, there a couple things that come to mind, I think first and foremost is that there might be a benefit to being the person on the scum team that makes all the night kills.

I'm not even committed to calling LLD scum, and it hadn't even crossed my mind. And to be perfectly honest, I don't care. I was 100% more interested in the people town binning LLD like she just claimed Innocent Child. But LLD's response to my post that wasn't even directed at her has definitely intrigued me. LLD is a highly prolific player and not above gambits. I simply err on the side of caution with those types.

This post and the explanations that came from it bothers me. It really doesn't seem like Toog was interested in solving other people, and when asked was only able to name Unwnd, though they worded it like there was multiple people.

Their stance on LLD ranges from trying to seem neutral to not being 'commited' to calling them scum.

Then they grandstanded about how they were looking forward to being wagoned in 356, but then in 499 gives very mild thoughts about their own wagon, and the explanation when pressed in 508 is still vague and not compelling.

This is synced, but my reads are awfully fluid.

Toog's in flux. I feel like he's doing AI stuff now, maybe? Most of his posts from that LLD sus onward haven't sat right. I have a feeling Nacho would tell me this is town toog, but I never totally nailed down what makes town toog town to Nacho.

Maybe ssbm is where I'll want to vote.

With the caveat that I don't think anyone in the top tier is super far out of scum range, these are early feelings mainly based on tone and claims.

@Dunn I don't really have issues with where we don't fully line up. Wheme would probably be null to me given his posts so far. notsci sees town-wheme, though. If that read becomes important he can expound, or more data may make my read more emphatically town than it currently is.

I feel like scum-DGB might think twice about antagonizing us to the degree it could have if I'd been feeling prickly today.

this isn't as clear as I thought on reread. the only game besides Yggdrasil I recall playing with toog was a Sangres game in 2014-ish.

This might be the first game I've played with Toogeloo where they didn't immediately claim their role

They did it in Yggdrasil and in two treestump vs games where they were vt and claimed it immediately (so they claimed even when there was no tactical advantage to do so)

I believe they were town in all of those games, which is why their opener here pinged me, since it implies that either they are changing things up, or they have a role that shouldn't be claimed. Arguable that didn't stop them in Yggdrasil when they were town so it leans towards being a scum role that they shouldn't claim/were told not to claim.

That's not the reason I'm voting them right now as I feel there's more info but it is along the lines of what I was thinking when I voted. They already explained that they were busy with packing which explains the lack of doing stuff early that I noticed.

But I think it’s null (and not too unreasonable) for someone to be wary of getting schooled.
From what I picked up there he didn’t throw in suspicion not because of the role but because it was LLD who claimed the role.
