I'm going to twiddle my thumbs until the replacement gets here because I'm a patient boy. I trust Enchant with the baton but I don't want them to give it away on a whim.
Enchant, who are you thinking about passing it to? I don't care who, I just care that you're thinking about it.

What exactly made you trade one townread for another?
Because there's no reason for someone to think you're townie enough to pass the baton to unless they know you're town and like that you want me deaded because it suits a scum agenda. It also makes sense for scum to pass you the baton and keep you as a mislim later in the game when there is sufficient interest in your exile.

Actually didn't really thought about it, planned to consult with everyone else before making decision.
Choice is hard, if mafia somehow avoided baton and my chooce really matters, then two from Dagbe, Vulture and Margot are scum. It's hilarious, considering one of them never posted and getting replaced, so it's actually chooce "Should i even consider giving baton to foreverlurk slot or nah". So if i get baton, i will probably wait for replacement before even thinking.
Imo i think we need to enforce surprise rule of "You can't grant baton to same person." so mafia who just granted baton to other mafia is getting dirt.
Yeah it’s probably good in theory but I think in a setup like this where people expect a certain amount of agency it’s hard to enforce. Also if the person townreads like, only 1 of 3 remaining options but passed it to that 1 before, etc.

Honestly I feel part of it is the fact the numbers are so small and there’s only one baton (not to mention that the game has had low interest from the beginning. :c).
If there were more players, maybe a second baton, and a power role or 2 then I think this set up would get a lot more potential but that’s just me.
I think the gimmick is the appeal mainly rather than adding more onto it but after playing something similar... eh. It just strips away elements like wagons, groupwork in favor of individual reads and power. It becomes boring but maybe it’ll perk up day 2.
