Yeah, and some vague hunch from their earlier posts that they seem a bit hyperconscious of how they're seen by others, but their posts since my vote seem okay so now that the slip's resolved I don't think there's enough to justify a vote anymore.

Whoever said they feel like they can't interact meaningfully with the game. I agree with them.

I was hoping for more interaction on my strategy post. Not gonna lie, I was kinda excited for people to say "go for it." But I guess that shows I'm a bad player since it was universally agreed to be bad.

I'm having a hard time gleaning reads from this game. I don't understand the LGW thing at all. And I voted Imaginality to stir something up, but nothing really changed. So I just feel like a spectator this game.

I will say that I have a town-lean read on Flea. Being the first to come out with a snap post of hot takes seems townish to me. Even though I have no idea if I agree with their assessment or not.

I hate Onion's shtick and if I were really out of ideas at the end of the day I would lim there just to not have to deal with a self-imposed restriction.

I like Pav's activity, it feels pretty genuine so slight town-read for that. But everyone seems to respect them for being a good player so I am wary of my own surface-level read.

If someone wants to make a succinct case and ask me direct questions I'm willing to engage but I feel trapped on the periphery right now.

Was your strat post universally agreed to be bad? I don't think it was, I think it just focuses on maths too much in a game that is not really about math. (Incidentally I don't love focus on mech talk either.) But since you seem to be trying to engage, what's up with the imaginality vote? Was it just to spark something or do you actually find them scummy?

Do you think policy-limming onion is something we should consider today?

Imaginality's contributions seemed easy to make as scum, IDK.

Policy limming someone is better than nothing. Especially since forcing a claim would give me a LOT of information to resolve in the "scenario matrix" I set up. If scum don't claim optimally or claim something impossible (which is hard to know, but not impossible), the game could easily move from "totally unknown" to "totally solved."

So I think limming the dead-est weight is not a bad option.

Since today is slow (Happy New Year! May your hangovers be brief and mild) and since nobody else has mentioned it, I'll mention this because it pinged my radar.

I think there's one scum in these two players so that rules out TvT fmpov.

Right but why do you think this? I get thinking LGW could be scum independently but I'm not understanding what about their interaction means one is likely to be scum.

It has nothing to do with them interacting and everything to do with the "slip" either LGW did slip or imaginality is pushing it as a slip because they know that role does exist as they are scum. It's moonlogic but that's how I roll ^.^

If others see it this way I'm happy to unvote LGW and be the hammer vote (in case LGW is supersaint).

Imaginality seemed to really want the "slip" to mean something before deciding that it didn't. In the meantime there was this post that screams LAMIST to me.

Also, your argument that I'm scum because I'm inconsistent is incredibly weak because it assumes that town are more consistent than scum when I've experienced the inverse to be true. Also also, there is no inconsistency because I didn't dismiss anything. I want to say you're town for trying to place me but I feel like an innocent witness being lead by the defense into falsely incriminating myself, I'm not sure of your motive.

I'm not sure how your original reply to me could be intended to mean anything other than "No I don't think imaginality has a good point and that's not why I'm voting LGW".

Town can appear inconsistent because they're not bothered by how coherent they look but there will still be a reason for changing their mind. The reason I'm suspicious of you is that you changed your mind to push LGW v imaginality as being TvS, even though the logic for why you thought that doesn't really make sense.
