indeed at least a town lean for effort so early, rarely will you see that avatar more than twice on a page.

What in any of those posts is "effort"? It'sIn post 150, Scorpious wrote:In post 149, MagikHorse wrote:Is this a meta call or something?

well considering they have been in almost every game I have, I notice a stark difference, and I early lean town on it.In post 151, MagikHorse wrote:What in any of those posts is "effort"? It'sIn post 150, Scorpious wrote:In post 149, MagikHorse wrote:Is this a meta call or something?

-a vote with no real explanation
-him backing off as soon as it's questioned by the very player he was supposedly scumreading, all while also placing his vote on a player that seems to be trying to push the game forward early
-a weak excuse of "not reading" to explain his bad vote
-and a one word "yes" answer to a simple question
So, what exactly makes this "effort" (I really struggle to call it that) town-oriented when it really seems so easy to fake and low effort overall?
Even more, why were they scumreading Andante on only the first 5 pages? They kinda ducked that question by claiming their read changed on the 6th.
Calling me not pro town when I bring an open bar?In post 138, Nero Cain wrote:*3rd post
and I don't see why not? Like I'm not saying its a fire-tire panda team or anything just that I don't think Fire "shitposting" and calling for votes on himself is particularly pro-town.
of course, he and others will just wright it off as shitposting and say that scum wouldn't bring that much attention to themselves
but that's how I feel so eh

@CSF I mean, it’s not a TR I’d die for, just an early gut read I had, consider it a town lean vs lock town read, and I liked the overall energy coming into the game, felt like Fire wasn’t afraid to post/afraid of appearance, was just having fun, breaking the ice, making it super easy for people to make an entrance. That kind of stuff I generally view as townier rather than as scum behaviors

This raises further questions on why u townread me!!!In post 140, Andante wrote:I didn't take Fire's post as buddying you, so this feels odd.. like, is Fire your scum partner and you feel like he's being caught, so now you feel the need to go "but as scum would he buddy me?" Fire is fire... does random stuff as both town and scum, of all the things said thus far, this stands out the most to me, like, it feels like you are genuinely defending fire here, but there's almost nothing game related to defend off of.
I don't think I really said that maybe in a way I did.In post 153, Firebringer wrote:Cain is mostly right no one should have read on me yet I haven’t even started my grand solving try hardness yet

This is a possibility, but I also haven't see you rooting around for scumreads as scum yet. Whichever key is the one that plays best solo
Okay yeah, Firebringer did do the whole "I'm scum scumread me" thing as actual scum too. Very mild townlean retracted, clearly this is the scummiest of the scums in the universe.

Every single run is different. In post 94, Tejate Raichu wrote:I shifted to serious because I was under the assumption that it wasn't RVS. I don't think this sudden switch is actually all that out of character with my meta offsite or on, but you can check over my early ISO of my previous game (Open 842) if you don't believe me. I actually don't think it's even particularly uncommon from my experiences off-site, so I find it interesting that it's pointed out here. Even in this very thread, basically everyone who got here early was goofing around, so I'm not sure that that's just me being unfamiliar with site meta.
88 was pretty much exactly what it said on the tin, I'm fairly confident I've made that exact mistake once or twice. 90 was me being a little confused at the re-vote, I was kind of hoping he'd come back with some reasoning if he was gonna vote me again but if it's still RV then I guess there's no real reason for me to prod at it much further.
And yes, I'm pretty much free for the next couple of hours.
