Looking the top wagons-

I'm not a fan of the catboi wagon, it feels kind of lazy.

Or more precisely, this is the second time it has been the largest wagon based on what I perceive to be weak reasons

I wasn't a huge fan of TB but given your mutual... history, I'm willing to see what the replacement does

Cat Scratch into Catboi makes sense.

I'm okay with Cat Scratch.

@WallFlower-MonkeyMan

I made the Cat scum team theory a while back and do think it holds weight.

I think this has the momentum to go through too.

This is interesting because CSF is a slot I've been thinking about a fair bit. I think their consistent but low-volume engagement with the game could be seen as scummy, but I've liked the posts they've made, felt that they've been focused towards getting a better idea of reads etc. and I feel like their low-volume approach could easily just be town who is just content to not have their voice fill all the space and just say what's important to them at the time.

This is a good post! It also looks to me like Nashville Dreams weren't able to maintain internal consistency and forgot who they were supposed to be sussing by confusing Monkeyman with catboi.

I'll keep reading, but based on the most recent VC and scrolling through the last few pages, it doesn't look like the wagon on them developed much further, which is kind of odd, because I feel like this is more solid that anything else that's happened so far this game.
this is pockety

just off rereading the ISO, I already found CSF really weird and I didnt actually read into them yet.
Is there a reason why you see this is pockety, rather than just town agreeing with a post and having it inform their view of the game?

I worry that there could be a temptation to see any post that's building up another player as pockety because of how often people are instead shooting each other down.
tone.
honestly i dont think I can teach you my methods of reading which ARE reliable within a game its just an experience thing atp and u sorta have to "trust the process" to get it. If CSF is scum they'll start showing it in other ways too - but yeah.

They look noncommittal and mostly following what the majority wants.

I mean, I can't, but I also know that MegA's town ISOs often look similar.

Re: catboi, we know that they are capable of townie-looking analysis as scum, so the posts that look like good analysis are not really going to be alignment-relevant for catboi.

I'm all caught up, although admittedly I kind of skimmed the last bits of the Well Done and Flavor argument since i don't think I got anything out of that. I still think the Nashville Dreams case is better than anything those two are slinging at each other though.

I'm tentatively townleaning Flavor -- I'm vibing some of his main scumreads and coming around to scum!catboi, whose pinged me and because his weird townread on mastina on page 72. mastina is also scummy -- I wasn't feeling her vague butterchurn push or the momo PT thing. I also find Flavor pretty manipulative as town in general, so I'm not sure the points made against him are AI.

I also think Klick could be scum -- his posts pinged me as pocket-y, like when he was talking to Mena about filler stuff on page 61 instead of taking the time to work with Mena on reads.
In post 2184, Cat Scratch Fever wrote:Flavor, did you see the about Nashville Dreams?

this makes me feel Nashville Dreams is the wagon that Catboi's team tried to get.

TownNorwegian probably just the power that they sheeped onto.

To me, I think it's a distraction that is less likely to hit scum, but you do what you need to do. I'm not sure on CSF-town, but I don't think they are scummy like you/SCP seem to

that would be funny if we were juggling scum wagons here and fighting wolves vs mafia and those that are static on 1 or the other are mostly caught out easily lol

Cat Scratch also tried to get me to compromise off of Catboi onto MegA at one point.

And they also have weird reads/action relation with both Catboi and Mastina.

I think Cat Scratch scum flip spews Catboi/Mastina as scum.

if you think catboi is scummy then it is natural to see CSF as scummy though?

It is possible to have town catboi with scum CSF but scum catboi makes town CSF a bit difficult here

unfortunately, this is a reason to fade Catboi over CSF. =/

I think you're just giving Catboi a pass Day 1 and not wanting to see the things they are as scum because I'm pushing them.

Can you try and case Catboi for me? Like say, they already flipped scum, can you back and see.

Cat Scratch Fever also had a couple of instances of pointing people towards my reasoning for Nashville scum. At the time I was happy with it because I believe I'm correct in my read there, but looking back I can see how it could have scum motivation behind it, using someone else's reasoning to promote a wagon.

yeah I agree CSF/Nashville pairing is unlikely

Anyway, I'm not sure how much I'll be around today but I'll collate my thoughts on Catboi tonight (Australian time) so that at least it's there and out in the open and then whatever happens from there, it's cool

if you can get momentum going, i'll join back, but I think Catboi scum is still a better fade.

I think townies have been talking lately.

People think WallFlower, Monkey, and I are all town.

But we're the 3 that have been mainly pushing Catboi. My thoughts are Catboi's partners are refusing to bus, and there's the other scum in some of the ones that move their vote, like CSF, Toogeloo, Mega, maybe even Tictac.

And that's actually a strong reasoning for ScumCatboi.

this + constantly minimizing my reasons is why I believe Catboi is scum.

Everytime I mention Mastina in some fashion, they always have something to say. This could be because of either a) it's a positioning tactic to pocket Mastina further, b)because Mastina/Catboi are scum together, C) Catboi is pocketed by Mastina.

I was thinking B for a while, and then started to go C, but Catboi has been talking to me like they know Mastina is town. Now you can say Multiball doesn't allow for that. And I see that, however, as scum, 4 in 18 others are scum, and no matter what, town reading is a safe move to do because of that exact defense.

Catboi's insistence on Mastina slot, and minimizing of what I was pushing there in addition to the vote counts is why Catboi is most likely scum.

In post 3293, Flavor Leaf wrote:You can also see around the time SPC was on my side, and right before, that Catboi was actively playing up towards SPC. I think this was also a positioning/pocket attempt on SPC.

When SPC turned on Catboi, Catboi started talking down to SPC, and then turned right after to try to play up to them again.

They used the Butter read to do so, something that SPC was connecting Butter and Catboi, but Catboi defended Butter while getting SPC to turn on them as well.

This is why I believe SPC is legitimately pocketed by Catboi. They played directly to them.

This is also helps to minimize me, one of the ones pushing them the hardest, by getting SPC on their side.

re:Enchant.

Enchant plays this way as both alignments in my opinion.

viewtopic.php?t=89363&f=3&st=0&sk=t&sd= ... er_sort=Go

Here is his iso from our most recent game (town!me and town!dunn and scum!mala were all in there with town!enchant) - and he was the first person that we killed.

And like, we killed him for similar reasons to what I am seeing from SPC
In post 1412, Dunnstral wrote:Enchant does not do absolutely nothing when they are town. This is how they play as scum.
And I agreed, and pushed enchant by comparing him to a scum game I had seen him in. So, both heads of this hydra just walked out of a game where we both lead the miselim on him.

Enchant is unreadable lmao

enchant is readable.

i do think they have pushed their own reads early on in the way they can and are engaged in their own way.

its like u have to try to hop into their mind and see how they think.

if you think its the same, you aren't trying hard enough to get into enchant's shoes and see their thought processes IMHO

SCP and FL, this is your final warning. The next post from either of you that is toxic, abusive or otherwise makes me uncomfortable, you'll be force replaced. I'm not interested in litigating fault or how we got to this point - my priority is that the game is going to stop being nasty one way or another.

Additionally,
-Stop talking about ongoing games.
-The game is not the place to make accusations of rulebreaking, per the new OGI rules. That is what the report button is for.
