Indeed. I am fine with eliminating them as soon as you die, or if they claim blocked etc. Forces them to be unable to wiggle out of keeping you alive by ANY means. If that allows scum to easily eliminate them, so what. They'd be dead today without this set up, there is no real harm in it.

I wouldn't say she nudged me towards it, if scum outright protected their partner after someone said they believed they were scum it would look bad. Which would make sense for how they were kinda passive about "agreeing"
