Could you rephrase this please. I'm having trouble understanding what you mean here. I thought it was WIFOM because you were wording the argument in the way that assumes you are town. Sure, I suppose that's what anyone would do, so I'll drop the argument. I'm really clutching at straws at the moment just for the sake of balance. If you (and bionic) are town, my questions towards your allignment should pose no threat at all.Ythill wrote: You're wagging the dog here. The least likely of three scenarios that were revealed after I made a statement says nothing about my motives for making that statement. On top of that, your false conclusion is that my statement was WIFOM, which suggests that it was meant to be evidence but it was not. It was a threat.
That is, in fact, somewhat true. If it didn't come over in my initial post, my 'uneasiness' is a feeling of the gut variety. I was just saying I've got a bad feeling about the fact that the two of you are basically running the game unchecked at the moment, yet you can't be kept in check because no one else is participating.Ythill wrote: And here you're casting suspicion without cause. You are uneasy that we are actively playing this game? Or you are uneasy that others are not? The latter cannot be blamed on either of us. And I'm noting that you are one of the folks who is not appropriately questioning us about our motives.
Again, if the two of you were truly town, casting doubt over your alignment would get you to defend your actions, justifying your townieness to everyone. I am merely playing devil's advocate here.
For the record, at the moment, I fully support the DR/crywolf drive, since we have no real other options.Avoiding votes by means of the spelling of my name.-

It does matter, pertaining to what you said. Yes, DR looks quite scummy but, if only one of you two is scum, I pick you. There is little reason for you to bus at this point, so I'm not staying on any wagons with you.Ythill wrote:Fine. Other suspect. It really doesn't matter either way because DR is really looking good.
Sure. Although, since you say you are dropping it, I'm not going to bother going through all of it unless you have specific questions. I'll just address the misconceptions apparent in what you said just now.fhq wrote:

It wasn't an argument. I was threatening DR, not trying to prove his alignment. Yes, I might have made that same statement if I was scum but saying something is WIFOMy is one way of saying that it is illogical or untrue, which would make sense if I had been making an argument but does not make sense in response to a threat.fhq wrote:I thought it was WIFOM because you were wording the argument in the way that assumes you are town.
Again, the threat I mentioned was me pressuring DR, not you threatening me.fhq wrote:If you (and bionic) are town, my questions towards your allignment should pose no threat at all.

Surely you have players in mind that you'd be comfortable voting with and others you want to DIAF. Having put some thought into this might help be more sure about your vote.Ythill wrote:

From the looks of it, any scum that is lurking is counting on the same general apathy that has plagued us the last two days and win it from 2 days ago. Contemplating vote between Ythill and Dead (lol) Rikimaru along the line of reasoning contributed in post 1086 by fhq.ShowCompleted Games:

Oh wait, this is obvious. Ythill unvoted in LYLO.
You can either join me, or work on getting the other guy with one less player.

I answered your question, but you have not answered mine. I'm asking why you want to know people's theories on potential DR-scum connections, not why I should have already considered it.Rash wrote:

Yet nobody has pushed you and here you are pursuing your same suspects. What changed your mind about this? What does your "life mean" now?In 1059, Rash wrote:I've got the feeling my life means one of two things: wrong about suspects, or prime lynchee...
Ythill removed a pressure vote when wolf-scum followed him onto the wagon. What difference does LYLO make in this scenario? Explain how I would benefit from my action as scum.Rash wrote:Oh wait, this is obvious. Ythill unvoted in LYLO.
Here are some questions for you. Do you believe there is a mafia RB? If so, why? If not, can you explain how it is that Tony died?
I'm seriously questioning my town read on you. For days now you have been ignoring and pooh-poohing evidence against obv-wolf while pushing suspicion on me (her primary attacker) and DR (her counterclaim). I've been chalking this up to tunnel-vision but, as the evidence mounts, I am starting to wonder.Record:Town 10W/15LScum 4W/1LOther 2W/2LNewbie 1L

I am quite interested in why Rash threw a vote on Ythill. I understand if he thinks he is scummy, but he seems unphased by the fact we were supposed to have 2 roles which could protect the tracker, yet the tracker has turned up dead and nobody has a good explanation for it.The above written statement is pro-town.-

If you understood what I meant, then why did you twist my words to make it sound like I meant something different?crywolf20084 wrote:
Yeah I got that.Ythill wrote:@wolf: All I meant by "follow" was that you voted him after I did.
It's the exact same situation. Meaning that DR as scum would account for the lack of a quicklynch on me.fhq wrote:Now that Ythill has a vote, we have the same situation as with DR. Scum hasn't piled on, so either he is scum, or scum voted for him (assuming all scum are active).
Further, if Rash is town, the scum don't have to lynch me to win this game. He's announced stubbornly that I am his vote for the day, which (if he's serious) guarantees that we will either have a mislynch or a no lynch.Record:Town 10W/15LScum 4W/1LOther 2W/2LNewbie 1L

I hate this circular argument shit. Did you or did you not vote for DR after I did? You did? Good. That's all I said. Notice any twisting?crywolf20084 wrote:

I never even mentioned your reasoning or your motivations. That detail was your own projection. I explained this to you in #1111 and you claimed that you understood what I had meant in #1113. So the question remains...
If you understood that I only meant you had voted after me chronologically, then why did you act as if you thought I was talking about your reasoning?
Your answer... to punish me for something I didn't actually do? It doesn't make sense. Even if I had been twisting your actions, how would it help the town for you to pretend to misunderstand me and attack me for something I'd never intended to say?

Hi,
Since my last succesful post here I had two posts that didn't go through because connection fell while I was writting.
I had more or less given up since I still have no internet at home, but I was given an assignement here at work that will allow me to be on a computer for the next days (normally I'm away from it) so here I go.
I noticed I am on top of everyone's suspicion list for the following reasons:
- Failed to post
- My vote on crywolf
- Never revealed Oman's results
I will adress all these topics throughout the day. If (worst case) I don't finish today I will be able to finish on Monday.
Feel free to ask questions along the way.[i]"Dead Rikimaru is... well, dead. When the lights came back on, he was found turned inside-out, somehow. Disgusting, really. Anyway, he was "Dead Dead Rikimaru" (Self-fulfilling Prophecy)".

For some reason lack of participation is considered scummy or an effort to stall. (although "stalling" is good for nothing other than forcing a no-lynch, which I'm always against)
Sometimes work bites a lot of of my time so I'm used to those accusations. (although this time work is saving me. lol)
I have only two things to say in my defense:
1- I'm running a game. I haven't posted a votecount for around 10 days there.
2- Due to time restraints I had to be replaced several times in the past (Sorry about that, but I replace in games much more than get replaced)
I played this game to the end as town
I played this game to the end as scum
I had to be replaced in this game as town
I had to be replaced in this gameas scum
Bottom line is: There is no stalling, no escaping, no nothing. Next time you suspect someone based on post frequency I suggest checking his/her past games first.
Next: My vote on crywolf[i]"Dead Rikimaru is... well, dead. When the lights came back on, he was found turned inside-out, somehow. Disgusting, really. Anyway, he was "Dead Dead Rikimaru" (Self-fulfilling Prophecy)".
