ANd why Melchizdec in particular-
QUagmire only has 3
Scalebane only has 3
Bloojay has a whopping 4
the time to hunt lurkers is before deadline, not as you have one approaching with a self-proclaimed safe-lynch.
Key to day one is get out without losing a role player. If your lucky you nail scum but that is few and far between. (and usually because the scum played pretty damn scummy. )-

I'd be happy lynching coron or melchizedek at this point. It looks like nobody is at all worried about the fact that melchizedek has only postedTWICE, so I guess I'llunvote: vote coron.ShowStats:

Would you explainZONEACE wrote:i find it humorous that there are still 5 people voting for me. I would wager that atleast 2 of them are scum. could we please lynch someone that it would be benificial for the majority of us to lynch, like say, coron.whyyou aren't a good lynch at this point.
1) Pushing hard for a lynch
2) Wondering why people are voting you out loud without giving any reasons you aren't town. It's not like you claimed is it?
Erm so still haven't given any real reasons yet.Locus Cosecant wrote:I'd be happy lynching coron or melchizedek at this point. It looks like nobody is at all worried about the fact that melchizedek has only postedTWICE, so I guess I'llunvote: vote coron.
Right here you also voted for me with no real reasoning.Locus Cosecant wrote:These most recent posts of Coron's push him over the top in my mind.unvote, vote Coron. As usual, I have no wish to Nader the voting, so if there is a dire need, I could wander back over the the HairyMezican wagon, or if someone else does something townlike.
At this point I am fairly suspicious of ZONEACE and slightly of Locus, but neither enough to vote especially seeing that ZONEACE already has quite a pile of votes.-

I'm sorry. I have very limited access and have a hard enough time trying to stay up with the game, especially when it goes to eleven pages on day 1. If you like at any game I play in, save a very few, my posting is always very limited. In fact, the game where I probably posted most was sword of truth mafia, where I was scum.
Anyway, I'm still slightly suspicious of coron and I am becoming more suspicious of locus as he continues to jump all over the place.
I guess, with the deadline I will go ahead andVote: Coron-

The thread is starting to thicken with accusations and counter-accusations. Quite confusing actually.
unvote; vote: Locus Cosecant.I find his insistence to take our votes off established choices and focus on lurkers at this late stage of the game a bit towny. I'm almost wondering if there is someone with a lot of present votes that he is protecting. More of an intuition vote. There are so many questions I'd like to ask, but we are left watching the checkered board. Our eyes pass over the symmetry. I wish it were possible to achieve such mimicry, to move our pieces in peace ├óÔé¼ÔÇ£ my bishops to church, your wild horses to stable.-

Well, there seem to be better votes than lurkers, so I'llunvote.
That said, I'm not sure exactly who I should vote for at this point. As for Locus cosecant trying to move votes off "established choices", the only people with more than a couple votes are ZONEACE and HairyMezican, and I don't see that either of those have particularly good logic. Something about ZONEACE bugs me, admittedly, but I think it's just because I hate his style or something. I've gotten that in every game I've played with him, even non-mafia games. So trying to shift votes is okay... though I will admit that going after lurkers when it seems to me at least that that was tried, and failed to gain support, is kind of strange. To be Continued...-

Darklight-- the thing is HM pretty much said he is a safe lynch--ordinarly on a first day a "safe lynch" often ends up followed. I sit back and watch and even withdraws votes at times when we get to this point to see what turns up, see where any shifting happens. There was one major shift to zoneace which I have to go look at who pushed that and then Locus C- Odd behavior starting off with spammer and then going to lurkers and playing differently then normal persona.-

Crap Logic. You say I'm trying to move votes away from established choices, and this makes me scum. Then, you move your own vote away from an established choice. Hypocrisy.
Put a bit of an FOS on lazarusmoth here; I doubt a bandwagon on him would get anyware in the time we have remaining, but he's something to think about for tomorrow.
Also, ZONEACE, if nothing changes you will die at deadline. If'n you've got a claim, now's the time to make it.ShowStats:

If I want a lynch today, who is the best person to put my vote on?
Should I be voting for myself here, or is there a better choice?
Although I don't mind people voting for me at this point, particularly those who think I might be scummy, I find PeaceBringer's insistence on a safe lynch a little odd.
If the argument is, "he is either a goon, or he is a townie. If he is a townie, we get something from the lynch, if he is a goon, we aren't that much worse off," that's acceptible; but the way he keeps saying it, it seems like his argument is, "He is a goon, so we won't be much worse off if we lynch him"
Although, I am a safe lynch, "No Lynch" is also a safe lynch (and also strictly better, if everyone is 100% sure that I am a goon), and we all know that "No Lynch" isn't good for the town.Vote: All of you guys-

I was saying that before Hairymezican, but then you put me on your suspect list."No Lynch" is also a safe lynch (and also strictly better, if everyone is 100% sure that I am a goon), and we all know that "No Lynch" isn't good for the town.
The two posts sort of contradict eachother, don't you think?HairyMezican wrote: "No Lynch" camp - normally I've only seen mafia promote this, I would be surprised if there were no evil townies on here

HM-- actually no lynch's are favorable to the town with the exception of eliminating a voting record. I prefer the voting records. Where I come from No Lynch is allowed but at the expense of night actions.
As I have said the goal of the 1st day is to get through it with as little damage as possible. You don't want to out a role player and if lucky you want to find scum. In the process you want to establish a voting record in order to help you sort out who is scum and who is not.
HM I understand the desire to keep on playing and your sudden defensiveness has me concerned. Therefore Iunvote and vote Hairy Mezicantying the vote (which I believe puts as at a no lynch if that is t he vote at deadline)
