HEMs early stuff I thought town and also VP but a few things struck me as off from both and I would like to look back properly at both.
I don't particularly think FB is town but I can wait for him to kick into gear for now and he's done enough that I am not auto scumreading so I don't want to vote there right now.
I am interested in seeing more of Xof's iso dives to see what kind of content is there
I will look at some stuff in the morning. I'm trying to just chuck down rough notes so I don't have to start fresh so I appreciate this is a bit halfhazard.

I don't like how cagey this feels and I don't like the excuses for:

• *Not expanding on the VP and HEM reads
  *Posting in order to use the thread as a notepad

At this rate I'll say there's probably a scum in Gamma, xo, Conman

this is the first time in the game frogster has interacted with or mentioned gamma and its a naked vote calling gamma a "Scum slot" while attacking cmm on page 70. It comes after gamma vaguely shades frogster which does match with frogsters general tendency to kneejerk vote people who find him suspicious and town read people who say he's town (see his progression on me day 1 where he said my progression thinking he might be town was "pure town." but on the surface this looks a lot like distancing to me, from both slots.

There's a bunch more posts sort of dismissively calling gamma scum for reasoning I would call poor or non-existent. This looks a lot like frogsters push on me at the start of day 2 so I guess I don't think its a particularly compelling point for thinking he's scum.

What do you see when you read Gamma's iso and what do you think motivates Gamma in this game?

i think shes hanging back and commenting/giving input on things that catch her attention. her analysis is brief but i can feel shes thinking abt things. shes not trying to take a big role or influence things too strongly and has been unbothered by pressure or the suggestion shes not doing enough.


i felt like she played fairly similarly in 2276 where i was scum and she was town. i dont think her playing in the background this game is scum-ai. even looking at the scum game from last year u mentioned, i would describe her play there as "performative" and i dont get the same feeling from her this game, at all.

This however feels like a strange reason to get off the gamma wagon though. This is part of why not knowing confidence makes frogster hard to parse for me. He seems so set on gamma being scum and then scamper comes along and is like nah and he's like ok I proxy my read to you then and its like...??????????

He's doing this whole generically proxy my reads thing this game and I think there's generically a lot more motivation for scum to do this than town but its hard to say without knowing if this is something frogster generally does as town.

On principle I sheep Townhunters unless I think they're scum or biased. Via scamper I can TR Gamma and Ydrasse by proxy. Via Ydrasse (who I'm guessing is a Townhunter) I can TR xoxelf by proxy I think.

It would make it a lot easier to hit scum D1 if you can confirm there's an up to date list in your isos containing all of your town reads.

Like this method is just incredibly convenient for scum because it allows them to deny all responsibility for their actions. "I wasn't scum reading x, y was." "the reason I didn't push z is my other town read said they're town."

So it's actually pretty important to figure out if frogster does this normally as scum/town I think but I am dreading another meta dive.

On the other hand, I think its suspicious that it's not consistent. For instance, he was all about pushing me day 2 despite the fact that one of his town reads, ausuka, had me as pretty close to their top town read, so it feels like this is more scummy than not because from my PoV he is using it as an excuse to get off things and ignoring it when its convenient for the push he wants to make. Is this necessarily scummy? I don't know. Town are frequently inconsistent in how they apply their scum hunting principles also, but it seems awfully convenient that he is using it as a reason to get off voting gamma but didn't use it as a reason to get off voting me.

Like here irrel is ausukas top town read but we still get a huge push on me when I replace in.

I think I have talked my boss into only making me work a half day today since my week has been crazy. I should be able to do some kind of catchup this afternoon, at least from when the new folks replaced in.

VPB post thrown in for fun. It's the same high level of confidence mocking thing I've seen him do with a bunch of scum reads including gamma but he hasn't pushed VP at all in a meaningful way. It's hard to say he has pushed anyone in a way other than this though and he's currently voting dannflor.

Uhh Gamma traitor maybe? Or Town on tilt? Or scum playing better than they have in the past? My instincts are both to Town and scum read Gamma and that's the best I can rationalize that. I feel like Gamma is working within the PoE laid out by the Town core but in the worst way possible. I've seen Gamma make three tells now which I can link directly to their scum meta.

This is the kind of post I would expect frogster to make if he was buddies with gamma.

I'm through their ISO 89 and I am out of time but I guess I don't really see a ton here that makes me think this slot is scum.

I think it makes it harder for me to parse my own thoughts as well! Labeling the certainty is already helping. I think internally my takes

I will say that the presence of a gunsmith means the clear on datisi is not as strong as it was without that information. When I mod gunsmith I try to put in scum roles that don't have a gun so its not a full clear. I have no idea if doing that is normal or not.

On the other hand the two vigs already act as false positives and the roll is already balanced from that perspective mech wise so maybe it is closer to a full clear than it would be in a game I run.

That being said, I am shocked to learn that another person I was perpetually scum reading and told was town repeatedly by other people is scum.

Shocked I say.
