I was thinking I would lock you as town if we were in different neighbourhoods, but that didn't happen.

I was also thinking we should eliminate from the smaller hood before the game started, but I think I changed my mind about that now. Eliminating from the big hood seems like it could be more rewarding.

Kinda rhetorical but kinda not: Did most people go into this with a preconceived plan of which neighborhood to eliminate in Day 1? I sort of figured we would just end up eliminating the scummiest person Day 1 and go from there.

1: yes. I think scum Cephir would have put me in his good

2: I wouldnt go that far. I just thought about what would mathematically give us the best odds of hitting mafia, which is the smaller pool. So I assumed most players would want to go that way.

Others have already asked you to elaborate on this and I'm looking forward to that, but my question is - why do you think Radja is town just because the hoods aren't organized the way he'd do it? There's two scum.

I have two scumleans who are from different hoods, so I'm going to declare the game solve is Dannflor/Somnus.

Somnus just feels performative. doesn't add anything to the discussion. is way longer than it needs to be. And the last line of feels designed to make it known that he's definitely thinking and solving the game.

As for Dannflor, the timing of posts and is weird. I feel like, Dannflor as town would likely post these two posts at the same time. Either at the time of , when he allegedly gave up on being secretive about his thoughts on the hoods; or at , when he started outing reads. Considering they were separate (and assuming Dannflor was already thinking the thoughts in 21 at the time he posted 15), I'm guessing he's scum who wanted his posting to match the pacing of the thread, and didn't want to start promoting a solving atmosphere. And after Cephrir started outing takes on people being town, Dannflor wanted to match it himself.

As for townleans - Isis is townie for , Pooky is townie because my gut says so.
I, too, have a destiny.

i read the thread i don't have that much to posttt but i don't think i'm gonna eliminage with a hood preference

hmm i guess if i think about it eliminating in the small hood once can inform which people in the large hood you lim

i have a feeling the game is so much healthier if everbyody is on the menu thouhg. the former consideration is itself social deduction rather than any confing mechanic

somnus does feel performative but lots of players on this website are naturally performative - it's kinda how text based mafia works to an extent

do you have experience with somnus?

It likely influenced me but I don't like the phrasing of 34. It kind of seems like there's concession that somnus is performative in a way that deviates from the median, then Dannflor points out the median isn't zero. Something like "we will all be performative this game it's forum mafia" would make sense but "yes somnus has 6 liters of diet coke and a pound of mentos but I think pretty much all of us get a little diet coke every grocery run" feels off to me like Dannflor knows Somnus' alignment.

Idk if I'm explaining my vibe about the post well

I have been scum read for being performative a lot before and at first I wasn't okay with it but now I've accepted it and realized it's just a part of my town play, but the point is that I'm hesitant to scum read someone for being more performative than the norm unless I know it's outside of their general meta or there are other reasons augmenting that trait

i think as it stands lucian's read on the slot is essentially a personality read and I don't really get any value out of it

I think the analysis on me is Good from the perspective that it's slightly more reachy than I feel scum usually goes for one page into the game

Isis I Leaned Town for her initial reaction inside the hood to the hood, which was "I'm not special" for anyone curious. of all the posts in this thread I actually like #33 for the timing and not feeling the need to produce what most would probably consider towny content. It is not solvy in any way and I feel like scum!Isis would be a little self-conscious about that, especially after Lucian's post

SirCakez I vaguely like the fact that he chose his own thing to go after in Cephrir but I don't really have words to explain why right now

Also hi Cakez, I remember you too!
to my mind, the small hood contains 3 small name players (because i have not heard of them) while the large hood contains all of the big players. i feel like you wouldn't have done that to yourself - it's too likely the players who play often will be able to find each other as town if they were all town. i think the large hood scum decided to carry the game, i think they are likely a veteran planning to blend in with a crowd they know well, i think because they are a veteran they most likely called the shot on how to divide the hoods, and the presence of strong players in their hood will also explain why they don't die at night.

granted this is partly stemming from my belief that eliming in the small hood was clearly optimal which i'm not so sure about anymore
