I have a funny feeling scum is going to aim to be on the council more than be the actual king... LLD made the comment about king not dying if guard is town or something like that, and I went back to the council stuff... you can't go "no I don't wanna be on council" and I think it'll be significantly easier for scum to just go "hey look I'm towny!!!" and hope to make it on the council...
I don't like how many silent people we have in like the ratio to people who have talked to those who haven't, like, it's making it really hard to think things through right now, but if I'm correct in my thinking, scum!junko would never ask about being king here like they did, so junko is very likely to be town... idk, I'm not putting much thought into reads right now cause we only have like 4-5 talking and that scares me cause like all yall could literally be scum together, and then I'm over here like "oh haha yeah! good idea!" then scum team grows from 5 to 6... and I drag us down...


uhhh where was I going with this? oh yeah, council stuff. I really think scum is gonna focus more on being chosen for council than becoming king (unless one of you talkers is scum and going for king) it just makes the most sense, cause like, I think council is gonna get powers, and scum would rather have those instead of let town have them, and if you need 2 town guards to protect king, wild guess scum is gonna go for one of those and how they're with someone sus, then yeah..

ok yeah yall can talk, I'll leave.. but yeah I was looking at activity overview... I know this just started, but it's a 21p game and there's really only 7 voices, with me being 1... this feels like terrible odds right now. cause I'm sure we have 3-4 scum talking... ahhhhhhhhhhhh

What kind of logic is this? oh easy, I know scum is trying to have a presence early, if you do enough now, it will carry you later so people go "oh yeah X was towny" and every scum team I've been a part of, people try to talk early... like I am CERTAIN we have at least 2 scum in these 4... I almost wonder if this GL/Datisi back and forth was theater... cause that entire "argument" was meaningless, GL just comes in "no no give yourself credit!!" like what? that pool of 4 might actually contain more than 2 thinking about this...

Dann just so happens to vote GL as king there, giving no reasoning whatsoever, I do not think GL has done anything particularly towny, like, "Andante I'll answer you later" ok great, what's the point of making sure you vote GL for king if you "don't have the time" to do other stuff? like there's no rush to vote in king right here right now, yet none of yall seem to be thinking anything of this?

It reads as fake progression to you? so put yourself in those shoes. If I made a wallpost going "UNOWEN MAF" and you never saw the seven day thing, saw me saying 7, went "oh! slip from scum chat!!" Cause to me that progression reads more like a town falsely being accused of maf... not that I fully trust Junko right now but that's just my thoughts on this.

if Junko knew Andante was town, I think it'd be less likely for them to assume the scum!PT argument would work and miss Andante quoting where the mod gave us that info. she'd know Andante was telling the truth so I don't think the scumslip idea would occur to her. I think that's what Andante is saying as well.

Which I actually agree with the logic of. In theory it would be more likely that town pushes on this as a slip, because scum would know nothing has slipped so might not even think of the idea. My suspicion is that 66, 67, 68 continue that thought beyond the point where town would probably have realised their mistake.

anyway, obligatory mech shit: i'm gonna go out on a limb and say that we should not be confined to the three choices that mastina proposed. we should also focus on electing someone we already think is town rather than someone who is "easy to read". it seems to me that the "execution" mechanic is net neutral in town hands but potentially scumsiding in scum hands. assuming the king isn't a gamethrower, it's more important that town hold it.

also a townie town king would potentially make it easier to determine whether there's scum in the kingsguard.

i haven't read any of andante posts yet.
Probably not that most scum players wouldn't want the king slot because of amount of attention it brings but would prefer to be in the inner core of whoever king trusts.

ahhhhhhhh in this case you might be town cause like, why would you continue to be one of the stronger voices going "yeah andante is town" as maf here, especially if it's with Dann who I think wants my head I'm thinking back to whatever game where I was just super unsure on you, and I have no idea if you were town there.. ahhhh a few months off and I can't remember much hahaha
