Hmm. To be honest I was baiting to see who would agree with my stance or not, thus why I kept mentioning it as a possibility throughout the day. As mentioned Benediction would probably jump onto something like that as a chance to be town... so after reading through again (Unfortunately not everyone has commented on it, was hoping a bit more time would offer that but nope.)

Enchant I admittedly wasn't going to get much information on from this play given they were the person I pressured to do this. They handled it well enough though.
ActionDan also responded well to it, asking the mod directly.
furtiveglance made a fairly small post about it, but didn't entertain the possibility either.
Feysal admitted it was a point of understandable confusion but was on the side of it being both malign. (Though I like Feysal more then furtiveglance for town, despite the ordering I put here.)
The Keeper... I'll admit I'm not sure about their response, but I think they were saying they expected Benediction to be scum
IceDragon actually entertained the idea of Benediction being able to be benign

Hugir I'm not sure about, 124 might have been a typo of next instead of never, the sentence makes a lot more sense the second way. None of their other posts clarified their view of this.

I don't have any information from my play on other players as they didn't respond directly to it, nor have they posted much for other reasons as well.

No one else really commented about it... But I'll say that IceDragon also seemed to be trying to get town read by me earlier, and several other previously stated less then towny posts.

My dissatisfaction at the lack of motion in this situation is significant.

There seem to be a large number of familiars in this game and all waiting for an Isaac. The day started so strong, I believe one of the wagons we have may be the correct one to run with.

Time passes, nothing happens, and people are casting votes with less reasoning than during RVS. Wonderful.

I firmly believe it is useful to know who you are trying to read if you want to read them correctly, and I barely know anyone here, which presents a problem. I don't have the time to research meta on everyone, but at least I can do it for suspects. I had a closer look at Rautherdir, and my confidence in my case took a serious blow.

The first thing is about his claim. While the role is as weak for scum as it is for town, I thought it would be a very convenient false claim, if you did not want your night actions to be verifiable or to be nightkilled. But the issue is, Rautherdir is in the same boat I am. His last game prior to this was over three years ago, ending in January 2020. The checker wiki page was created in June 2020. I don't think it is reasonable to expect him to have known about it. I believe his role is real now.

The second thing is that Rautherdir is good at playing scum. He is

very

good. He is bold and confident, enough to RVS vote an innocent child. He won Grand Idea uPick for his team. Everything is a lie v2 was cancelled, but his partner had this to say about him:

Me/Hectic were second groupscum with Rautherdir. It's too bad game ended like this. Because Rautherdir seriously impressed me with his performance. And he was juggling like 10 PT's.

Does this sound like his play here? His wittering, as furtiveglance put it? I think it looks more like his town play, which I found from 2019, where he seems much less sure of himself.

I still think the mental gymnastics required to suspect Enchant are weird, but I'm having second thoughts now.

so i did some isos and found almost nothing, but i'm starting to see the case for dragon.
the reasons for that vote on actiondan seemed very disingenuous, considering the game had literally just started and he may not have even had time to post much. nor was there any reason to think his iso was "trying to look like something."
i'd vote dragon, but i don't want e-1 until we're actually ready to execute someone.

Scummiest at this point I'd say is probably furtiveglance, they haven't really contributed much at all while still being present.

I agree that they have contributed very little, but I believe it is typical of their early-game play.
What do you think of ActionDan's ISO? To me it looks like a bunch of nothing trying to look like something.

my scumlean on dragon isn't entirely gone, i'm still sus of the actiondan vote and the defense in 243/244. 249 miiiiight be a bit pockety, but i know i can be overly paranoid about pocket attempts so it's probably nothing.
however, i'm going to leave it because the other 2/3 of the playerlist are dead null and i'd like to change that.
