Quoting this just to say this was the best joke I've seen this game, got a good laugh out of it.

DragonEater was Klick's first tr who they just repeated they tr. DragonEater says they read Klick's iso to develop a read on them, say they read the case on me and agree with it completely, ignoring how Klick himself went back and forth on it or without any kind of validating the completion of the meta.

This is a good observation, and I'm pleased that someone else is catching on. I talked about some of this in my post 804. This is pretty much exactly what happened when I asked DragonEater about my case on Firebringer, he just joined me voting him with no input of his own. Also, there is the time Shea told him off for not questioning the people townreading him, and he went to do as he was told like a good little boy. That is now three times he has done that. It is no longer random, it has become a pattern.

Also noting it here that it was Kuribo who kicked that interaction off, not Shea, and was not pleased by what he saw. I think that detail may prove important.

"Hey x, thanks for tr on me, I agree with what you said with this other super active poster, so I scum read them too" it just feels really unnatural. He literally did the same with Feysal's case on FB too.

Well technically Feysal is semi scum reading DragonEater actually but that's not the important part. I get the vibe DragonEater is rather trying to appeal to other slots than actually producing reads.

I suppose I need to be more direct about what I'm getting at. I read your post about how day one was a struggle against noise, and how you are aggressive in early game, trying to get a clearer signal. However, there is one flaw in that, which is that by being too forceful you will influence the behavior of your target. People are much more likely to show their true thoughts when they are relaxed, and may reveal more than they realize. When you focus on someone too hard, that will only cause them to get their guard up.

I'm not sure I've ever really thought of how I approach games, I've certainly not written any articles about it, and after being away so long I just play how I play. I don't always say everything I'm thinking about, because I don't want to reveal my hand too soon and cause my target to tense up. I don't tell where conversational landmines are, or even if possible that there are any, because it tells me much more if my target can avoid them on their own. And I certainly don't tell the right answer I'm expecting, if I have one in mind, because I want to know if my target can come up with it by themselves, or even surprise me with something better.

In short, your interaction with DragonEater looked like a teacher handing out the correct answers with the test, and being satisfied when the student returned it with the answers filled in. Did you really not think that DragonEater was a little too eager to please?
