Daisy, to clarify:
I didn't ask you the question to show anything. I asked you the question, and at the same time, I noticed that you were more interested in defending yourself. I noted this as consistent with my expectation of who you would be as scum but I will concede that a literal human-eating monkey putting pressure on you will cause you to focus more on the monkey and so it's not alignment-indicative.

However with Tweet's , Roden's insistence on the townread, and HEM's descriptions of the games that have gone unchallenged, it seems my skims of those ISOs aren't consistent with how everyone else who's read those games has seen them, so they likely don't hold much weight.

UNVOTE: HEM

Back at the drawing board lmao.

What I really should have done, and I was debating it with myself when it happened, was let you be and watch what you did. But I was hungry for action because it was Day 1 start.

I would appreciate it if you find the time and read it yourself. I find Tweet's interpretation of the second game fair. So if you continue the trend and give your thoughts on the third game, town vs town, it would probably introduce you to my playstyle during my weaker moments.

  • I will be largely unavailable for the entirety of July 5; if something requires my immediate attention on that day, please PM me.

Number of posts is not always a guarantee that a slot will be easily read, Furtive.

None of the slots in that rank gave me an above 60% of likely alignment. They can easily go either way, so I do need more information.

If you can't reason that out, I frankly don't understand the basis of your suspicion.

If I had expand on this subject, I suppose you are either accidentally fixated on some expectation or inducing yourself to reinforce the same thought.

One has unintended bias (town!you), the other has malicious purpose (scum!you).

Judging from what I remember of the first time you expressed it, I'm under the impression that it was coming from town!you, but it's not such a difficult fos that scum!you couldn't use it.

If I take HEM as an example, I felt impartiality when he mentioned the scum!Clidd scenarios, while you seemed to already come with a conclusion in mind looking for ways to confirm it.

Solution: I need something more tangible, like a a game, a sentence or an action voicing what you are thinking for me to process it.

Then we can work it out and see what happens (assuming you've to actively read me, of course).

If geraintm is town and once I flip someone might need to come back to this vote. One angle I'm seeing is that town! geraintm throws some general sus out there and scum! Elements uses this as a subtle way to test the water for momentum on me. Maybe hoping geriantm is in fact more suspicious of me than the three others considering my voting history.

It's not important. You aren't giving me much to read on so that's how it is. I don't think you're pushing the element wagon? Your vote is there, having a good time, but your most recent post has some merit. I'm afraid of calling you scum btw because maybe then if you're actually town I'll never be able to reverse my read due to conviction.

Readlist time because fuck it content :]

Townie

Elements
Tweet

Townlean

Klick
Clidd
Gera

Null

Humaneatingmonkey/Roden (they share a spot right now, I think one of these two flipping helps sort the game a lot but they’re both clearly strong players who you don’t want to just throw away for the sake of it)
Emperor
Curiouskarmadog
Takutai
Greeting

Scumlean

furtiveglance

Can someone who townreads Greeting let me know why? I'm struggling to sort the slot whatsoever and the fact that everyone is managing to find townreads there is pinging me a bit.

And yea Furtive has the right excuse but he just feels like a different player than what I'm used to and I can't shake that feeling, so gonna throw support on this wagon.

I don't know if you're town, so knowing I'm town your vote is already bad. If I look for motives for your vote I'm of course going to find plenty becuase I'm not inhabiting your brain and I have already observed and commented on certain possibly alarming aspects of your play. Clidd's vote made be suspicious at first but yours I can see coming from scum.

I've talked some about your slot already and I know you're not able to push me through today so all I'm going to do is wait and see what you do next.

@Daisy

My reason for leaning town on Greeting is mostly tonality and the way he played until now.

If you look at his ISO, I mean, it's not like there is anything extraordinary but the basics seem transparent/honest imo, thus towny.

The slot was off the radar and it would be simple for scum!Greeting to just go with the flow, but if you look at posts like , and you will notice that he didn't just stay complacently static - he created a certain *noise* while trying to navigate the game, which reflected to me as a potential towny perspective voicing his doubts and seeking information to advance his own reads, not just like ''oh hey, I'm a generic townie with no personal opinion following whatever the consensus calls for''.

Not the greatest read, sure, but it's what I have for now.

Initially for the fencesitting and word salads. I thought his latest readslist was more of the same, too many nullreads on slots who have done a lot this game.

This is a really basic way of casting aspersions against me and making it seem like a calculated move by me, when the reality is I just saw more of what I originally sussed you for in the first place - and I knew you were probably gonna omgus at some point right from the response to when I first voted you in .

I feel like your readslist is identical? A couple of townreads, an elim pool, and a bunch of people he hasn't figured out yet.
I guess if you think about it, I don't feel too good that I'm not a townlean when I feel like he treats me like I'm a townlean. Personally, I chalk it up to paranoia.
Do you think his readslist doesn't match how he's been treating this game?
